Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Our decision to book Tony was very last minute (literally the week before our wedding) because we felt that we really needed musical accompaniment to our hymns. We were planning to have all other music on an MP3 player. Tony was great to deal with - came back quickly and was very professional in his communications. We arranged to meet at the church the day before and Tony brought all four additional songs that were going to be on the MP3 to see if we liked how they sounded on the organ. He then played them for us. I cant tell you how much better the music sounded on the organ. Tony, you were easily the 'icing on the cake' and the best last minute decision we made. Many of our guests commented on your playing and you were brilliant to deal with. We cannot recommend you highly enough. We're only sorry that it has taken us this long to put up a review. Thanks for helping to make our day perfect. "

"From start to finish James was incredible. So friendly and kind and super easy to work with. I loved spending the evening with my hubby putting my song choices together and getting excited for the party…so many to choose from! I was really worried when we arrived at the bar that we wouldn’t get a party vibe going however in such little time James had everyone on the dance floor. When I started looking for live music, I wanted more than just one singer but a whole band was too much, but James isn’t just a singer, they way he plays is way more than just singing, he creates so many other elements that you think you’re hearing a whole band. The night was perfect and that was down to this fab player. Look no further people…you’ve found your man! My only regret is not finding him when I booked the music for our wedding. Thanks James for making my birthday so special x"

David was so accommodating even from before we booked, answering every question and bringing a great amount of skill and knowledge to play the right songs at the right time during our drinks reception and evening do. Jack is a very versatile vocalist who can sing a wide variety of styles. He is constantly working on new material and tailor his material to suit any occasion. "Anne Marie was lovely and really accommodating for our requirements. She was a little apprehensive that her repertoire we had requested was not suitable for the audience. I was convinced that her concerns weren't necessary and when she began I knew I was right. She was also concerned her vocals were not as strong as they could have been because of a previous temporary condition. But again she was excellent. She was just what we thought we wanted and didn't disappoint."

"Becks H, January 2020 Birthday party in Newtown, Buckland St Mary, Chard TA20 3TE, UK Emily was just fantastic. She was booked very last minute and was very accommodating with this approach. It was a surprise for my Dad's 82nd Birthday and it was such a delightful evening. It was an intimate evening, just family and Emily's mastery with her beautiful cello left not many dry eyes in the house. She was just great and my whole family had such a special, memorable and delightful evening. Thanks so very much Emily for making a special birthday , a truly fabulous night to remember."

"We want to Thank You for giving Ian such a wonderful send off. When we decided we wanted a piper to play at Ian's funeral, we weren't sure if we could get one in North Wales, and as luck would have it we Googled you and Hefin from R W Roberts, Abergele also recommended you. Susie was slightly apprehensive as she'd never heard you play and coming from a musical background she's a bit of a perfectionist as far as music is concerned. When you piped Ian in to Scotland The Brave we were just astounded. The service was all about Ian and we wanted to do him proud - we didn't want it to be too sombre and depressing. It was hopefully about how much we loved him and what a smashing guy he was. We felt it was dignified and uplifting. Your musical performance was just incredible - you could have piped us all the way home!!! Thank you so much again for being a very memorable part of Ian's farewell."
