Yes, I am completely self contained. I bring my own PA system - a larger and smaller system dependant on event - both high quality, Bose systems. I can bring lighting for additional cost.
I will need to know any directions that will help me find the venue and find the right place to load in my equipment. I also require a point of contact for the day.
I can! Happy to play music from my streaming service before, after and between my sets. I'm happy to choose the music myself or let the client choose the music.
I have played at numerous venues across the UK, for events, weddings, parties, bar and pub gigs but the best gig I have ever done would be my best friends wedding. Playing for him and his wife in front of friends and family was such an honour, and meant so much to me, that this, hands down, was my best gig.
I’ve been heavily influenced by artists like Dave Grohl, Paolo Nutini, Eddie Vedder, Jack Johnson and Dallas Green, musicians who blend authenticity, emotion and raw talent in a way that shaped my own style as a performer. My favourite artist is City and Colour; there’s something about the honesty, depth and vulnerability in Dallas Green’s songwriting that’s always resonated with me. And for me, the greatest song of all time has to be Chop Suey! by System of a Down, the energy, the rawness and the sheer passion in that track is unmatched and continues to inspire the intensity and emotion I aim to bring to every performance.
I started gigging from a very young age, performing on stage in plays and musicals where I quickly fell in love with performing. Growing up in a musical household, my mother being a singing teacher meant I was always surrounded by music, and my father’s love for Cat Stevens and Gipsy Kings sparked my fascination with guitar. I picked it up, and I’ve never put it down. After studying performance at university, I moved to Wales and began playing on the pub and bar circuit. My shows quickly gained attention, and I soon found myself in high demand, performing regularly for a growing audience. Since I started I have performed at hundreds of venues across the UK, mainly Wales.
I love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are my favourite. I love being there for the whole day, creating the soundtrack for each section of the day. I love mingling with the guests, getting them dancing and singing.
I usually arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up, get acquainted with the staff and the venue. I usually perform round 45 minutes for the ceremony, 1 hour for the drinks reception, 2x45 minute sets during the wedding breakfast and 2x45 minute sets in the evening.
I love playing outside, only thing i'll ask for is cover from potential rain.
My main goal is to make your vision for your special occasion come true, so I work directly with my clients to create their Ultimate Wedding Playlist or the perfect event song list. Your personalised playlist can be composed of songs from my library of over 300 songs and I can also take up to three special requests included in the price!
