Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We spent most of our evenings in the Lookout Bar, with the excellent Stratford and Borrell, a duo with a seemingly endless and varied repertoire, virtually everything except opera and rap. Very capable musicians with Paula on flute and sax and Mark on guitar and vocals. Their rendition of Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street will be a long-standing memory of our first cruise. Paula's saxophone is a tremendous experience. Thanks guys."

"We booked Phil on the spur of the moment to play at our wedding which took place weekend before last. He was amazing! I simply cannot praise or thank or recommend him highly enough. We got married in Birmingham. He travelled the night before to ensure he was there on time. When we arrived from church he was playing - all set up and it made the perfect atmosphere whilst people milled about. We ended up staying outside because of the beautiful weather and he adapted, moving his kit around and performed outside. Nothing was too much trouble. He absolutely made the start of our night do. Got people dancing and singing along. Phil had learnt our first dance song and the Dad/Daughter dance song which made them so special. Everybody loved him. In fact many said he helped to make the day. Like I say, can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s personable, professional, reliable, friendly and an all round nice bloke on top! Thanks Phil! "George arrived promptly on time. He was very likeable and respectful but also very professional. He was happy to do anything we wanted and he did so beautifully. My Dad who had passed away would of been so proud. It was a very moving experience and I cannot thank George enough. I would highly recommend him without a moment’s hesitation. "What an amazing night for my son’s suprise homecoming, Rob you were fantastic it really got the crowd going we maybe a small town but we like to party & party we did with the help of your amazing double act of drums & saxophone already had people ask who you are so I gather there will be a few bookings coming your way.Will definitely be using you both again when I next have a party. Oh & my father in law loved his little appearance on the drums lol. Thanks again ."

" Macmillan Garden Party The sun shone for our charity fundraiser, loads of people came to support, the cakes were fabulous and Steph was the icing on the cake. Steph stood in at the last minute, she quickly appraised the situation and played a fabulous selection of music which hit the spot perfectly and lent a great atmosphere to the occasion.
