Review Centre: Wedding Singers

"Max set the tone for our wedding and helped to make it such a special day with some great songs to get people to sing along and dance. The caterers even commented and said the music was the best they had seen at a wedding. Max even joined in with a couple of others to do some full band numbers. We would highly recommend Max for weddings and any events where you want people to have a smile on their face! Max was very good at communicating exactly what was going on leading up to the day and all throughout the day so we always felt the music was in safe hands. Thank you Max "

"We booked Rachel for a surprise party and she was so amazing! Not only is her voice beautiful and stunning, so is she. She put special touches in songs, got everyone dancing and really engaged with the whole room. We couldn’t have been more pleased and happy to of had Rachel at our party. She really made it extra special and more memorable than we could’ve wished for. Everyone loved her and I am looking forward to having Rachel again at other events. Thank you to Rachel for making our party something to remember forever."

"David was amazing! Entertained our guests before the start, played a beautiful rendition of my favourite song as I walked down the aisle and was part of the band during wedding worship (playing across two different pianos through the day). Couldn't have asked for more, such a lovely guy. Would recommend him to anyone."

"Kitty was a key part of my wedding ceremony, singing songs that were important to me and my husband. Before the day, she was lovely to work with to help shape the ceremony. On the day, she blew us all away. Kitty's singing will always be a treasured memory of the day. "

"I just wanted to say thank you to Claire as she is such a fantastic singer and entertainer. Great communication before the event and I completely trusted Claire’s thoughts for timing/genre/song choices for the night. Claire adapted completely to our guests and was a fantastic entertainer signing songs that both adults and children could enjoy! Having Claire at our birthday celebration completely enhanced the evening and all our guests said how much they enjoyed her entertainment. I think one of the children at the party is now looking to join Voices of Darlington. Thanks again Claire x"

"Claire was great from start to finish. She was very friendly and organised, contacting us prior to the event. From the moment she arrived, she was extremely accommodating with regard to the event being slightly behind time. On top of that, her performance was excellent and got everyone up dancing. We were inundated with positive feedback from guests. "

"If you want a singer that can play beautiful piano ballads but also stand up and dance to tracks, Danny is the guy. With him, nights evolve in the most perfect manner! He'd play slow songs during the dinning time and went upbeat for the drinks. 100% recommended!"

"I’ve updated it to include that detail: We had James perform an acoustic set during the afternoon of my 40th birthday celebration and he was absolutely brilliant. He played and sang for three hours and kept the atmosphere perfect throughout — relaxed, uplifting and full of great energy. His music created such a lovely vibe, with everyone swaying along, chatting and enjoying themselves while mingling. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how good he was and how much they enjoyed his performance. One of the most special moments of the day was when James kindly helped my daughter and her best friend perform their own song. He made them feel comfortable and supported, and it turned into a memory we’ll all treasure. James was professional, talented and read the room perfectly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any celebration or event. Thank you for helping make my 40th birthday so memorable!"

"Rob was simply fantastic and made a massive contribution to our day. You instantly get the sense that Rob is an experienced musician and a fantastic guitarist and singer. As a guitarist myself I was a little envious to hear that guitar is Rob's secondary instrument with his main instrument being the drums... obviously Rob is a serious talent! Rob was a true professional; arrived early, quickly set up and used his own judgment to play where and when was appropriate for the setting/ceremony. Rob also went out of his way to learn an instrumental rendition of Jose Gonzalez's 'Heartbeats' for my wife's entrance which couldn't have been better. All in all, we can't recommend Rob enough - 10/10."

"Just perfect. I don’t know what more we could have wanted from JG. We were looking for someone to gently invite our audience onto the dance floor and keep them there. We found him to be warm, professional, and a very talented musician. JG's communication and professionalism leading up to the event were excellent. He felt like a comfortable pair of dancing shoes, I knew from the way he worked with us via email (other options were available), that he would make our event a success. He asked for and listened to details of our audience and developed a suitable playlist from the small selection of songs we provided. The audience was invited to make requests but everyone was happy dancing and we didn’t need to. He had us all up on the dance floor for the whole session. Our audience was 24-68 and somehow he appealed to them all. The quality of his sound and voice was fantastic and I was pleased that the volume was pitched just right as we were in a small space where it could have been deafening. He turned up on time, was calm and organized (when I wasn’t), set himself up without any fuss, managed to chat with us to check things out, and actually just made me feel more relaxed and then suddenly he was changed into new clothes and started the party off! He made no demands. Played a fabulous range of music to appeal to everyone over the allocated amount of time and then finished, tidied up, and left again with no fuss yet with a friendly, sunny disposition."

"This was our mother's 90th birthday party and we were all very impressed. Paula Marie has a beautiful voice and performed a fantastic set. She was very natural and connected with the guests effortlessly, the time just flew by and we all agreed she made our mother's birthday one we shall all remember."
