"5 star Google Review: If you do one thing after reading this review, it’s book Nigel as your pianist for whatever occasion you have! We first met Nigel at a wedding fair in Bedford and we knew from hearing him play, that we wanted him part of our wedding day - and we are so thrilled we did! Nigel is exceptional - he played for ceremony sit down, ceremony, and drinks reception (outside); his repertoire of songs and genres he can play, by memory we must add, is phenomenal! He’s also one of the most organised vendors ever - very slick planning process which made it so easy, he’s so calm, approachable, helpful and friendly! Nigel kindly sent Jen (bride) examples of him playing a shortlist of tunes to help her decide which one to select for her aisle song! He’s always been so responsive on email (even when he was on holiday)! On the day, Nigel was super professional, decorated his piano with flowers that matched our colour theme perfectly, and played songs that were perfect for the mood and setting; he even spontaneously started playing ‘consider yourself’ from Oliver when the group family photo was being done which went down a great treat (and triggered an impromptu singalong by the family!) Just brilliant, and received a lot of compliments from our guests! Our wedding was held at Tewinbury Farm which was a new venue for Nigel (at the time) and he was so open to this, not phased at all and did his own research and made his own contact with the venue to make sure he knew where to be on the day - as we say, a true professional and couldn’t recommend more!"

"If you are considering a pianist please let it be Nigel Hammond! He is professional, easy to get on with, flexible and plays beautifully. Nigel brought something very different to our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and we are so glad that he was able to be our pianist. He played something for everyone and even the children enjoyed the music. Nigel is responsive and has a lovely sense of humour, he always responded to our emails very quickly and the booking process was straightforward. Thank you Nigel."

"Our event took place on the 1st September 2023 at Horwood House. Nigel performed at the ceremony. The ceremony went off well and Nigel played beautifully for this special wedding ceremony. The ceremony would not have been the same without him as he added that special touch. Nigel was patient with us in deciding the choice of the songs and was very professional. Thank you Nigel, the bride and groom were so pleased and our guests really loved it and there was so much praise for how well you played. "

"We would 100% recommend Robbie, from our first meeting at a tasting at our venue we knew we wanted him as the soundtrack to our wedding. Robbie provided the music for the ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast and we couldn't be happier with our decision. "Nigel's piano transformed the atmosphere in the resort bar (at Wyboston Lakes). Delegates heard Nigel playing as they left the dining room and were attracted to stop and listen. We expected the piano to be background music but Nigel chose just the right music and performed so well that many people just listened as to a concert. The overall effect was, as we had hoped, that more people engaged with the evening events and entertainments for the rest of the week. Tremendous success; all thanks to Nigel."

"Nigel has performed at a number of events for us from playing and entertaining our visitors at our Christmas Fairs & Roadshows for a few hundred people to our smaller Memory Cafe meet ups. In 2020, Nigel continued to support our events as we moved virtually due to Covid-19 - it meant people we support, families and community could still enjoy his beautiful music. A pleasure to work with and our latest event, The Big Give MacIntyre Virtual Christmas Concert has had the most views for any event we have ever shared on YouTube. "Des played the organ for our church wedding ceremony and was fantastic. We met a few weeks before the wedding and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. Des was very accommodating with our requests. We didn't have any particular music in mind for when guests were first arriving at the church, but we immediately trusted him enough to play his own selection and it went down very well. Des' playing during the whole service was top notch too. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and friendly musician."
