"5-Star Google Review: We first saw Nigel at a wedding fair at Plum Park and we were both impressed by the seemingly effortless way he played from memory and he seemed like a very friendly guy. Once we had booked our date we discussed having Nigel play and decided the money would be better spent elsewhere so we reluctantly decided to just use a playlist, but I knew how much Kevin had liked the idea of live music so I contacted Nigel in secret to book him for our ceremony and wedding breakfast as a gift. Nigel was super responsive and really up for keeping the surprise a secret as long as possible. I chose the music from Nigel’s huge repertoire based on what we’d planned from a Spotify playlist and as we wanted our exit tune to be Happy Together by the Turtles, Nigel learnt this specifically for us. Nigel was fantastic on the day, texting me to let me know he was there and had set up without being spotted. Some of our guests were tasked with keeping Kevin away from the ceremony room and we managed to keep the surprise right up until his registrar interview. We had set up a camera near the piano to video the speeches. Without any prompting Nigel kindly turned this to each person speaking so we got each speech perfectly in shot too, a small extra thing which meant the world to us. Many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was and his playing set a wonderful tone for our day. I’m so glad I decided to book him and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone. "Absolutely amazing!! Robert played for our wedding and was just super. Arrived early, all prepared and just left him to perform. He knew when to take breaks and each song led perfectly to the next. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you 😊 "

"Elliot was fantastic! He is a great musician with a lovely voice, who does not "just" replay known songs but gives them his own touch (we found a few of his versions were better than the original ones!). Not only that, he was very easygoing and flexible on the day and extremely patient and understanding with the children (that can't have been easy!). We can only say a big thank you for contributing to make our event a success. "

"Excellent!!! Mark helped us plan the day thoroughly, he played music for the ceremony including learning the Jurassic Park theme tune!!!! He also played throughout our drinks reception and the in the church on site for a carol service. Amazing value for money and could not fault. Many thanks! A*"

It really was a lovely Christmas Wedding at Hengrave, our collaboration for your Jurassic Park Theme worked a treat, I'm so pleased that everyone loved the music! The Carol Service in the chapel was indeed epic, I've never heard such hearty singing in there - wonderful stuff!!

"We had an amazing day and a special thanks to Andrew. Despite the current Covid conditions we still had a special day with close family and friends and the music for the ceremony and after drinks was beautiful and extended as everyone stayed on and continued to have a great time. Would fully recommend Andrew and have rebooked for what we hope will be a larger celebration in the future."

"On 5 August 2015, Anthony Rudd came to play for my wedding at St Andrews, Bothal. Needless to say, his performance was perfect. St Andrews is a wonderfully renovated medieval church that once belonged to the castle and estate next door. The pristine church organ is small, manufactured in the late 19th century. It takes some skills to make that organ sound for the pieces that we had chosen, among them Bach and Widor. Anthony came to try out the organ two months before the date, so we had a chance to go over the repertoire and choose a range of pieces that might be suitable for both, the event and the organ. In short, his playing had a significant impact on the service and made the event to what it was, a powerful and exciting celebration of our entry into a new stage of our lives. Thanks so much! "

"Vikki, as we say in East Yorkshire, is a 'good 'un'. Apart from being a superb musician on both cello and electric piano, she is a very pleasant, professional person and made us feel very much at ease in the lead up to her performance. Vikki performed during what was probably the noisiest part of her event so full marks to her for playing in 'testing' circumstances, she received a standing ovation from her audience and this was richly deserved. I would not hesitate to recommend Vikki and she will certainly be very welcome back at Kilpin anytime."
