Review Centre: Wedding Ceremony Musicians

"DO NOT HESITATE! I would like to save you all a lot of time looking at 30/40 acts to have at your special occasion. I looked at Joe first and compared those 30/40 others to him and none came close. Joe's voice is nothing short of exceptional! I do not say that lightly either. I do not want to make this sound like the"JD appreciation society" but I honestly believe if you book Joe you will be able to say " we had Joe at our doo" to all your friends when he if famous. Apart from the obvious great voice and beautiful guitar ability, Joe is one one the nicest lads I have came across in my lifetime, nothing is too much trouble and everyone at our wedding absolutely loved him. Even the staff at the venue asked me about him and I was told the kitchen staff were "singing their heads off" as they worked. As the covid restrictions meant a small gathering for us, we are having another party later in the year and will most definitely be having this exemplary, insanely talented young man with us again and I feel very privileged for that honour. Joe, truly from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!! "

"Dom stepped in at the last minute to perform at a family birthday party. I am so pleased he did! His communication and professionalism were spot on. He has a fantastic repertoire of songs to choose from. I wanted mainly 60’s and 70’s songs and he had plenty to offer. There was something for everyone. He read the room and knew exactly what our guests needed. Dom’s sister joined in for a few songs and their harmonies were beautiful. His warm personality and musical talent made the party an occasion everyone will remember. Highly recommend! "

"Sara, your singing really made the wedding! Your voice is so versatile, you sang classical music so beautifully in the ceremony and then switched effortlessly to jazz and pop for the drinks reception. Thank you also for organising the jazz band and other musicians, and for accommodating our somewhat last minute song requests. "

"Last summer, we were delighted with the performance of saxophonist / clarinettist Rory Duffy and pianist Chris Roe exploring the music of George Gershwin. This summer, Rory Duffy enchanted the audience with his fusion of acoustic Latin with Brazilian music, jazz and soul and the arrangements were tastefully orchestrated with Julian Harris on guitar and Venezuelan percussionist James Vielma. It made for an engaging performance. We hope to have him back again soon! Whitworth Art Gallery, July 2012"

"I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful music you provided for our wedding. We chose you firstly because of your fabulous and wide ranging repertoire of classic and awesome songs we love, and as soon as you started playing we knew we had made a perfect choice! Your friendly relaxed energy and ability to interact with the crowd made a great atmosphere, you have a great sound and you were note perfect from start to finish. Conor has a beautiful voice! There was something for everyone, and our family and friends all had a fantastic time (we had so many positive comments about you guys!) Not only was the music spot on but you were so friendly and professional, both on the day itself and leading up to it, the whole process was very easy and stress free. "We hired Mark for our wedding and from start to finish he was absolutely incredible. We went through several months of planning where Mark not only suggested some great songs but accommodated a number of our own special requests. On the day his experience really paid off as he combined the church organ with his own digital keyboard, which was perfect for the traditional yet upbeat mix of songs we were looking for. Mark also played the piano during the wedding breakfast and we were inundated with comments on how good he was. It is obvious why he has been chosen to play at such top London restaurants (we even had dinner at the Gilbert Scott before the wedding just so we could hear Mark play and we was fantastic as ever). As well as a gifted musician Mark is also the ultimate professional, always available to talk and quick to respond to any issues. He even worked closely with our singer to ensure they had the correct versions of each song we requested. He took all the stress out of managing the music in the build-up and on the day, something which we found invaluable with everything else that goes with planning a wedding. If you need an organist/pianist for any event we simply cannot recommend Mark highly enough! "
