""The Simon Quartet delighted a capacity audience at the first of our concerts at Lost Gardens of Heligan in January 2017. Mixing excellent originals by pianist Simon and saxophonist/flautist Sarah with a few well known standards - the quartet demonstrated their remarkable individual skills with a rock solid unity of purpose. Percussionist Keith and bassist James, a formidable rhythm section, also shone on some inventive solos. The SQ is certainly at the forefront of contemporary jazz ensembles in Cornwall, offering a special evening of accessible and rewarding jazz.""

"A true professional, a real entertainer and so incredibly talented and just a joy to have at our party. "Gareth could not have been more helpful and professional from our first 'planning' meeting to the very end of his entertaining playing at our reception. He certainly went the extra mile to make sure we had the music we wanted. He played the organ in the Church for the wedding ceremony and then rushed off to the reception and lunch venue to play the piano for our gathering guests. My husband is something of a jazz fan and so got on famously with Gareth and they both seemed to enjoy talking through the music we would have throughout the day - Gershwin, Stan Getz and lots in between. Having music at the reception was perfect - it wasn't at all 'wallpaper' but nor was it intrusive which is a very clever trick to pull off! It lifted the whole event to a new level. Thank you Gareth for helping to make our special day such a success - we were perhaps an unusual couple having a combined age over 150 but that didn't mean we were not keen to have lots of fun and smiles and the music was an important part of making this come true! "...would just like to say how absolutely wonderful Becky was. Family, friends and Celebrant were equally enthralled ... commenting how beautiful Becky's performance was. Becky's soulful, yet pure voice complemented my Sister's funeral service perfectly. Despite the short notice on my behalf (a different soloist had let me down) Becky did a wonderful job of interpreting my sisters favorite songs beautifully, using both acoustic guitar and violin... and my goodness Becky's voice is just heavenly. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a more perfect final farewell for my beloved sister who loved music so much. Thank you so very much to both Becky (such a wonderful talent) and Sarah-Jane (for helping to make the whole process so easy and simple), you both made a day that I had dreaded so very beautiful and memorable... thank you xx"

"Lizzie was fantastic, so professional, kind and fantastic at what she does. The music was perfect for the vide of the evening. She merged in with the crowds during our reception drinks and really started the whole evening off with a bang. Thank you so much for all that you did for us. Bex x"

"Gareth was brilliant for our wedding. He emailed all the options and took the time to come and meet for coffee and discuss further. We really appreciated his considerable experience and that he took the time to come and get to know a little bit about us. He helped us choose the wedding songs and hymns and suggested where to place them in the service. He also proof read our order of service prior to printing. On the day the music was more than we could have ever wished for and lovely, energetic hymns. Anyone looking for a real professional with vast experience who goes the extra mile to make your occasion really special should book this amiable and talented guy. Thanks G - you made our day."

"I have heard Ben play the piano on many occasions in different settings - formal and informal. He adapts his playing quite brilliantly to suit the nature of a particular event, never becoming overpowering or intrusive but appealing to the ear in the most inventive way."

"Duncan communicates quickly and clearly by email so there is no uncertainty whilst waiting for responses. He arrived on time, was polite and charming and a self-starter with regard to the setting up process. Most importantly, he chose music that suited his audience and played it beautifully."
