"Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Our Wedding at Sopwell House Private Function, St Albans on Sunday 5 May 2024 Uptown Funk were absolutely brilliant and made our wedding so much fun! Everyone was raving about the band and it was so great seeing all guests on the dancefloor the entire time! We made a few requests too (our first dance and Israeli dancing) and they were brilliant for every single song. "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Well this was something different…! Long-term friends and musical duo Paul Anderson (vocals/keyboard) and Dennis Fisher (guitar) brought the cool and refreshing sounds of Jazz/Blues/Soul/R&B ballads to the foyer, which went down very well with the people stopping to listen or passing through on their way to less enjoyable clinical commitments. "We booked Soul Messengers for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with our choice! The combination of Fillipo’s skill on his guitar and Azu’s soulful vocals created the perfect atmosphere. Performing both, a ‘chilled set’ for our welcome drinks and a ‘more upbeat set’ to get the party started, they helped make the best memories on our special day. Soul Messengers were very easy to communicate with and self-sufficient. Thank you both so much!! We 100% recommend! Sol & Ellie. "

"Mission "mother's birthday party" accomplished! She loves Motown and 70's music and after a pretty tough year spent in various hospitals, we decided to give her a surprise party with her favorite songs. Volare DUO put a smile on my mother's face who sang the songs with Ciro! Thanks guys from me and my sisters"

"We saw Unwritten Duo in Nottingham and were 💯 blown away by them musically and vocally and the whole vibe they created was so warm fun and friendly! "YOU SEEN THE VIDEO... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR....? Came across GG and the Brothers of Soul and instantly thought, we need her at our wedding. They know how to get a party pumping. We are massive Motown fans and GG hit all our favourites effortlessly and our guest are still talking about them to this day. They are happy to accommodate any request and with this we had our first dance with the band singing live...you can’t buy memories like this. We know we are going to book them again for another party, we just need an excuse to have a party. Highly recommend them and I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Thanks GG for making our day."
