Review Centre: 1920s, 30s & 40s Style Bands

"I run a venue which hosts parties and promotional events for the alcohol and beverages industry. Mozel Tov Cocktails played at our celebration of the end of Prohibition. They did a stomping set well suited the event, and even mixed in some live electro-swing which went down a storm with the clients. We liked them so much we booked them again a few months later for the Glasgow Art School Archetects graduation ball. If you like totally authentic gypsy jazz and swing as well as bit of klezmer this is your band. In a nutshell: fun, dedicated, authentic virtuosic professionals."

"The Spinettes were booked by the residents at Harleston House for a musical event that they had planned for Dementia Awareness Week. The girls were very warm and friendly with their performance but remained professional performers throughout. The music and the selection of songs for our client group was spot on, its not easy to keep people with Dementia engaged but they managed very well. It was lovely that when they finished their show the girls took the time in going round chatting to the residents and their relatives this was a lovely thing to do. The residents are still talking about it and they all said what a lovely time they had together. I have been requested to book them again and I have no problem with recommending this group and their manager for any event that requires this style of entertainment."

"Helped add a real touch of class to our party! Loved hearing my favourite pop tunes such as Simon and Garfunkel in this string setting. They were very flexible in their organisation prior to the party, and were able to set up comfortably in our living room. The playing itself exceeded my expectations - beautiful! "

"Book this Trio! Noteworthy are fantastic. We had a wonderful birthday party for my husband - everyone thoroughly enjoyed their jazz repertoire - the sound level was perfect and they added sophistication and joy to a fabulous evening carrying on playing long after they were due to finish. "The quality of the musicians, the outfits and the overwhelming presence of the group was definitely impressive. Aside from their professionalism, it was also great to find that every member of the band was enthusiastic, vibrant and warm! The audience love them and so do we. I can't recommend them enough!"
