Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We booked Rowan to play for our wedding several weeks ago in a small church in Edinburgh. He played lovely Irish and Scottish tunes while the guests came into the church and found their seats, which everybody in our small party of 30 loved, my mother especially! He then played a beautiful slow air for myself to walk up the aisle to, a tune that I had never heard before but now will remember forever since it suited the moment so perfectly. After the ceremony was over, it was once again back to the more lively stuff for everybody to leave to, as we headed off to our reception. The music was beautifully played and tastefully selected, and so myself and my new husband would highly recommend Rowan for anybody's wedding day. "

"Dave performed with Ben (his guitar partner) during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast, creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. This was exactly what we asked for and they executed it so well. During the evening, Dave accompanied our DJ. He not only impressed us with his fabulous skills, but all our guests are still talking about it! He was lovely, reliable and professional, not only on the day but also leading up to the wedding."

"Wow! Slav was amazing, if you are looking for a saxophonist book Slav you will not regret it. From communicating to driving 31/2 hours we couldn’t of asked for more. Slav learned new songs for us and it made our night so special! All our guests said he was amazing and the best entertainment they have seen at a wedding. Thank you Slav :) "

"Charted Territory were phenomenal throughout. From setting up, to sound check, to the incredible performance on our wedding day, they were fantastic. Our guests loved the music and we have been delighted by the comments we have received from our guests. The musicianship, the perfect sound and the choice of songs were all spot on. "Steve travelled to Italy to play for our wedding in Lake Como. From the initial booking and discussion of music requirements to organising travel Steve was extremely professional and very fast at responding. We booked Steve to play for when the guests arrived, which having the sound of the saxophone playing whilst our guests looked out over the castle terrace overlooking the lake was truly magical. I walked down the aisle to Only Me by John Legend which had quite a few people in tears. Steve then played during our aperitif and during dinner. I had comments from many guests saying how nice Steve was and how much they enjoyed his music. An added bonus to the day was when Steve played alongside our wedding band for our first dance. This was an added surprise and got everyone up dancing. Thanks very much for that. I would very much recommend Steve to play at your wedding for that special added touch."

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day. "

"Nigel played for our ceremony, drinks reception and all the way through our wedding breakfast! He did an outstanding job and the guests all loved his music. I cannot thank Nigel enough. He communicated with the venue directly to take away the stress of organising a wedding and played beautifully throughout. He created a great atmosphere and the little flower girls enjoyed dancing alongside his piano"

"Nicky was informative and accommodating in the lead up to the birthday gathering. On the night Nicky's set went down a storm and many of the guests commented as to how good Nicky was and they enjoyed the mix of songs. I would look to book Nicky again in the future."

"Andrew played for our wedding ceremony at Barony Castle in July. His piano playing was beautiful and the songs sounded just as we imagined! All communication with Andrew was very easy and he was flexible and accommodating with our song requests. I wish I could have been down stairs listening to it whilst the guests were arriving! We would highly recommend."
