Review Centre: Ukulele Players

"Last minute.com Marc came to the rescue after fulfilling a full on Easter weekend of gigs, to sing at our wedding. This was no ordinary wedding as Marc had to find his way from Cheshire to West Sussex to a woodland wedding venue. We made sure he was fed and watered before singing/playing his ukulele under a gazebo in a meadow with an open pit fire. Wow what a varied performance of songs did Marc cover! Rammstein to Eminem to Queen on the ukulele! Quirky yet very talented is Marc everyone thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. We very much recommend Marc and please support him by hiring him for your event. Thanks Marc"

"Never having hired a singer before, I was worried as it was a surprise for my daughters wedding. I needn't have been. Very professional from contact, to the performance. She sourced a male singer for me , John Prescott, who was equally spectacular, to accompany her on my request. I cannot express how pleased I was with the whole performance. All of the guests commented on how wonderful the singers were. I cannot thank Mollie and John enough for their wonderful performance, which embellished my husband's speech and made it totally unforgettable. I cannot recommend Mollie and John enough and would not hesitate to hire them again one day. "

"Having Ant at our wedding made it so special and memorable! Ant played while I walked down the aisle, sang our first dance, and also played during the drinks reception. Ant was lovely to work with, responsive and enthusiastic, and really cared about our day and what we wanted. He is also a lovely guy and was so much fun to have there on the day! Ant is so talented and we had so many comments from guests on how brilliant he was. I wish I had video’d the day so I could hear it all over again! I would 100% book Ant again for any live music in the future. Thank you Ant! "

"Meg was the perfect solo performer for our wedding. She fitted in just like one of our guests, but a guest with a guitar and the most amazing voice! We truly cannot think of anyone better to book if you are looking for a jazzy sound that will make everyone from 20 to 85 feel happy and wrapped in warmth. Meg did three special request songs for us, including using our own adapted lyrics to one song to make it fit to us specifically as a couple and included us in the performance of it. She also played the most beautiful arrangement of the song that Daphne walked down the aisle to. Meg comes with our highest possible recommendation, we would not hesitate to book her again for any type of event. "

"This guy is absolutely amazing. Chap on Uke you say? Hmmm sounds bit dull, will he do cleaning windows?....DUST THAT THOUGHT! NO! This is like nothing I have seen and can seriously keep a audience entertained. His set list is so varied and he goes seamlessly from one to another with incredible energy. He can sing too. In fact young Simon would appear to have every prerequisite of a very accomplished performer he very very talented. He blasts out Paolo Nutini, Bob Marley, Meghan Treynor, Outkast, Rolling Stones hell I can't even list them. I'm 38 years old and totally intend on Simon rocking my 40th party bash, I've been telling everyone since we saw. Thanks Simon for a STEEEZE New Year's Eve. "
