Review Centre: Pianists (Pop/Rock)

"My event was a private engagement proposal at a venue which required discretion to keep everything a top secret. I discussed at length with Nigel beforehand what my requirements were and he sent a huge list of songs he could play from memory which really helped me select a playlist to ensure the evening was fun yet intimate! We had discussions of some songs which were fundamental to the evening, such as the entrance/proposal song itself and Nigel was so accommodating to my needs, even when I changed and added songs over the coming weeks from his repertoire. There were some songs not listed which I wanted adding but luckily Nigel admitted he also knew how to play them. The evening itself ran beautifully, Nigel blended well with the surroundings (not easy to mix roses with a Ferrari F40) but he managed it. Songs were played brilliantly, and he even slipped in a couple of extra songs to suit the mood. I’d recommend asking him to play The Interstellar Theme by Hans Zimmer :) Thanks Nigel, we had a great evening, and fortunately Chloe said YES! "

"From our first contact with him, Tom was polite and professional. Booking him was an easy process and arrangements made, with a few special requests, without any problems. On our wedding day, Tom arrived well ahead of time, set up his piano without any problems and played throughout our wedding breakfast as requested. He played everything we asked for, plus many other pieces - the style of music being totally in keeping with the occasion. Our guests loved listening to him, one table bonded by playing a game of guessing the tune and he made our wedding even more special by being there. Tom and his piano would be a great addition to any special occasion. Tom plays a great variety of musical styles and we thoroughly recommend him."

"Nigel is an absolute legend ! This man can turn his hands to anything and any tune, even breaking into tune on our exit song when our song didn’t play through the system he very amazingly knowing what song it was broke into tune and gave us a glorious exit out of the church. Nigel played all afternoon for us, for our welcome drinks and our wedding breakfast and he was incredible, reading the audience and playing the most beautiful selection of music. We couldn’t recommend Nigel enough to anyone considering a lovely pianist at your wedding. Not only is Nigel a very talented pianist he is also a lovely gentleman who pre and during the wedding went above and beyond to help where he could and make everything such an easy booking process. "Sarah was extremely professional and would respond to emails promptly. She delivered exactly what we had asked for with the 3 songs we had specifically requested for the ceremony. The music she played was gorgeous and added great atmosphere during the ceremony and reception. 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a pianist on their wedding day."

He played the songs we requested perfectly and really found the vibe we were looking for, for the wedding breakfast. Our guests loved it so much they even broke out into song for Let it go! He helped us make such beautiful memories of that day. He is also so lovely and the added touch of ensuring he matched our colour scheme was really appreciated. "Felix responded quickly to our initial enquiry and any follow‑up messages. He took the time to understand the event and the audience - a small gathering of family and friends celebrating a special 80th Birthday. He has a great repertoire to choose from and after picking our favourites, he suggested some additional choices of his own to suit the event. On the day, he was brilliant. Set up was very simple and quick. Felix was very engaged with everyone - friendly, smiley, and incredibly personable. His transitions between genres were seamless, and he connected with guests across all ages - from 19 to 86! Everyone loved him and our Birthday Girl said in her Thank you card "A very big extra Thank you for Felix who made the day!" We would highly recommend Felix - wouldn't hesitate in booking him again and we hope to see him when he’s performing at one of the London hotels."
