"One idle morning in May, James Wood woke up and strolled down to the bus station beneath a sky the mottled colour of a gravel garden centre car park. He got off at Hull Station, then, like a man who accidentally mislaid every care he had to give, plonked himself behind a piano and played David Bowie’s opus ‘Life on Mars’. "We couldn't recommend Ellen enough! She was very helpful throughout our wedding planning and quick to reply which helped keep us calm in such a busy time in our lives. On the day of our wedding she set the day off perfectly with songs to welcome our guests, and the music played in our ceremony blew everyone away! She has an incredible, captivating voice, and all of our guests were moved by her and spoke about how great she was over the following days. She even took a request from our nephew which meant a lot to him! Thank you!! Ellen was amazing from the moment we started booking her! From quick replies to help with any queries we had, she always made us feel at ease. Through her knowledge and experience, Ellen helped us with things we didn't even realise we needed to think about. On the day of our wedding, she really set the day going from lovely music to welcome our guests, to the ceremony, and reception, she really had everyone entertained. All of our guests spoke so highly of her, they were blown away! Ellen even learned some songs for us, which meant a lot to our story together and really added to our overall experience on the day. The demos she sent us, we will cherish forever. We can't thank you enough for everything!"

"Our wonderful singing waiter Jack went down a storm at our wedding on Monday and I cannot thank him enough. He had everyone up dancing, singing and waving their napkins around. Two days later my throats is still hoarse and my feet throbbing but it was so worth it."
