To this day his legacy remains as "The King of Rock N' Roll" or simply "The King".

In the UK, The effect of Elvis Presley and the other rock n' roll acts would give rise to many British counterparts (who would also enjoy international success) like Cliff Richard, Hank Marvin/The Shadows and Billy Fury.
