"Black Velvet Band Irish Trio came to play at our relaxed outdoor pre-wedding get together of about 40 people. The three who made up the band were great – very talented musicians – they played all our favourites as well as some wider material. They were very keen to fit in with what we wanted to hear and gauged the mood as to whether to sing ballads or play jigs (after a few drinks people were up for having a bit of a dance). It was such a joy to hear live music again after all these months of covid restrictions. The Band really made the evening and they were really lovely people."

"OMG we were looking for a country act four our drinks reception and the Country Rocks Trio were amazing! Everyone commented on how good they were, and they sang some of our favourite songs from Zac Brown Band and Luke Combs! We just loved it! Such talent too!"

"The ceilidh went amazingly well! The dance floor was full all evening. I put it down to Eddy and Mike, who played tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The caller was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."

"The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"I just wanted to put on record my appreciation of Tim Barton’s efforts and musicianship during my 60th Birthday party celebration last Saturday night. Tim provided a really atmospheric soundtrack to the night, from the Beatles to Bowie to Sinatra. Even Billy Bragg got a look in! It was a perfect accompaniment to the party and Tim coped brilliantly, performing well over the general hubbub of many people who hadn’t seen each other for ages. I would happily book Tim again. "

"James was awesome at our 21st party. Organisation was great, shared play lists and arrived on time etc but most importantly he was fantastic! Happy to play early on whilst people weee at the bar but gradually enticed them to the floor for dancing and singing. Very happy to recommend!! "

"Dave played at our wedding and he was excellent. Dave was very friendly and he had previously contacted me to find out what sort of music we wanted so he knew exactly what we wanted on the day. He arrived very early in case he got stuck in traffic and he performed about 5 hours for us. We were very happy with Dave and we would definitely recommend him and we would love to have he perform at any other special occasions we may have. Many thanks Dave xx"
