"Hi guys, Just had to say thank you once again for your show on Saturday night you were so good and you made the party so much better than anything we had hoped for. All the guests loved you and they haven’t stopped telling us how good you were!! Have supplied a well earned review for you; Having booked 106 Miles to Chicago for my wife's 50th birthday party we were looking forward to them getting our party going! They were so professional from their arrival and set up and when they started the party really got going. They were absolutely fantastic and they gave 100% and everyone loved them!! "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio provided a brilliant ceilidh for our wedding celebrations at Goldney Hall, Bristol on 12 August 2017. What a fantastic evening! The band entertained our hardy Scottish guests with well-known Scottish dances but it was most enjoyable to see English friends and family ceilidh dancing for the first time and loving it! The dances were called very clearly and were quite ambitious so there was much hilarity. It was infectious fun and everyone got involved. (The dance floor was almost too small!) Mike and the band were extremely accommodating, professional and enthusiastic. The band has a huge repertoire and organised the evening flawlessly, from our first dance (Gay Gordons) to the throwing of the bouquet and the final Circassian Circle. Highly recommended. Thanks again for a fantastic evening of fun!"

"We originally booked Stargazers for our wedding in 2022, and we were so pleased to finally have them at our wedding in 2023 after it was moved due to illness. They were incredible in the run up to the event, and on the day their performance blew us away. Every guest commented how amazing they were, their set list was such a brilliant mix of classics and new songs, to have our first dance with them was a real pleasure! I couldn't recommend them enough!! Thank you to you all for making the wedding night truly memorable for us all - if we ever need a live band in the future then we will definitely be getting in touch! AMAZING!! "

"We are so happy we booked Rob for our party. We chose the jukebox option and it was ideal. We had an age range of 7-93 and the jukebox meant everyone was happy. Rob is very talented and had people up dancing and everyone entertained the whole time. I would recommend anyone in doubt about booking Rob, just do it you won’t be disappointed. I think having Rob at the party really elevated it from just a gathering to an amazing party with a great atmosphere. Thank you, I’m already thinking of an excuse to have another party!"

"The Chiltern Hillbillies - what a lovely group of gentlemen. They came and performed at an event at the Epilepsy Society last week and people are still talking about how great they were! They were friendly, talented and so generous to perform for over two hours to our residents. My feet are still recovering from all the dancing!"

"Black Velvet Band Irish Trio - Cheltenham Gold Cup - March 2025 Absolutely brilliant band - everybody loved them! We booked the band to play at The Three Lions, Stourport-on-Severn on Gold Cup Day 2025 and didn't regret the decision. They came in set up and started playing straight away and immediately the dance floor was full. We were turning people away at the door as the pub was full to the brim! They played to the crowd and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. "

"My legs are still aching because I danced so much! The band arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful and the music was delightful. It was a mixed crowd, many of whom had never met each other before but with one thing in common – they had never done ceilidh dancing before! The caller was absolutely brilliant – it didn’t matter that most people had no idea how to dance the reels! Everyone joined in and thoroughly enjoyed themselves."
