"We absolutely loved having Kirsty at our wedding. Her performance was fantastic, we had a band on before her and it was a tough act to follow - but she managed it tremendously. She was brilliant at quickly figuring out what got the wedding party dancing the night away and was always on top of where to take it next. Along with a great performance, her communication was absolutely superb before the event. She spent time going through what we wanted to get from the set, what our music tastes were, what we did want to be played (and did not!) and so much more. On the night Kirsty worked around lots of timings and was hugely flexible. Above all, she is a really nice person who we just felt throughout wanted to do all she could to help make our night even more special. Talented and highly recommended"

"Knoxville Highway played at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. We were looking for a country band who would play a good mix of songs and they fitted the bill perfectly. They are outstanding musicians and Bob a great singer and front man. They engaged with the audience and made many specials mentions to my mom and dad. We had some lovely feedback from people at the party about them, everyone really enjoyed their set, young and old! Only wish I had another event coming up so I could book them again, maybe one day. "It's No' Reel performed at our wedding at the Albert Halls in Stirling in November. After hearing such great things about them, we actually changed the date of our wedding to ensure they would be free to play! They didn't disappoint on the day. With a mixture of Scottish, English and international guests we thought we would have some ceilidh followed by a disco, but in the end everyone was having such a good time that we just kept on with the ceilidh. From my seven year old nephew to an octogenarian great-aunt, everyone was up dancing all the time. And once the day was over we had a really fun Go Pro video to watch back. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend It's No' Reel to anyone wanting a memorable evening."

"Jock Rock are amazing!! They were exactly what we wanted for our wedding! They played a good mix of ceilidh songs and also some modern songs too! Our dance floor was never empty and we got lots of comments about how good our band were!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / 08/04/2023 / Ceilidh for Eastercon 2023 (Sci Fi enthusiast's convention) We had a fun-filled, joyous ceilidh, thanks to the amazing, talented Black Velvet Band.The band members are great fun. Alan had us laughing so much with his warmth and humour when calling the dances. The booking process was straightforward and professional. When I talked on the phone to Mike in advance, I was assured that these guys knew their stuff. When I requested non-gendered calling, that was no problem. The band are very versatile - they added a little Star Trek and Dr Who music, seamlessly, into the ceilidh tunes, to give us an extra-special thrill! "I saw these guys at a public event, I must say it was good to see some real country licks and sounds! Really liked them, authentic and if you like the more traditional foot tapping stuff, you will love these! Although they did actually play some Post Malone and Morgan Wallen"

"We had Kodiak Avenue perform at our wedding garden party and it was absolutely perfect. Jayne's voice is beautiful and the guests were buzzing with all the Shania Twain songs which went down a huge hit. They were both polite and professional and I would certainly recommend booking them in a heartbeat, thank you so much, we had a fantastic afternoon!"

"These guys were awesome!! Everyone at the event loved them and they put on a great show. Each member of the band were friendly and really got involved in the event and were so professional. 100% be looking to book this band again at some point in the future. They look and sound great."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."
