I’m sorry not to have written before now, but this is my first opportunity for saying a big thank you to you and the band for an excellent evening’s entertainment last Saturday. Everyone, who has passed comment to me, said what a vast improvement Montana Rain was compared with our previous band, and from your results of getting people up and moving, I can only endorse that commendation! "Incredible acoustic duo – absolutely made our night! We hired Kodiak Avenue for our beer festival style wedding party, and they were phenomenal from start to finish. They travelled all the way over from North Wales to be with us, and right from the beginning, their communication was incredibly clear. They stayed in touch constantly in the run-up to the big day, which gave us complete peace of mind. They provided fantastic setlists for us to choose from, and they let us completely curate our own entire set from their massive back catalogue. Because of this, they played a set made up exclusively of our favourite country songs. As a live country music act, they are exceptional. The lead vocalist is a truly talented country singer, and together as an acoustic duo, their sound is incredible. Their voices harmonise incredibly well giving a fantastic "full" sound. They played all the best country hits and really knew how to work the crowd, getting everyone up on their feet singing and dancing along. If you are looking for fantastic live music for your event, we cannot recommend Kodiak Avenue enough!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Georgia's Wedding Ceilidh / October 2024 It was so much fun to have the trio along and they were so clear with their instructions that even the French at our wedding could follow along. Mike’s communication was superb and at one point extremely helpful by replying quickly with a key document, as we dealt with a problem with our venue. Thank you all."

"We had a fantastic joint 30th birthday party for 60 people and the Black Velvet Ceilidh Band did an amazing job of making the evening a huge success! Mike gave me a call a couple of weeks prior to the event to confirm all arrangements such as timings, location, numbers, and the experience of the party goers (very mixed - lots of complete beginners). Mike was really enthusiastic on the phone and I felt very confident all was going to go well. At the beginning of the evening, we were pretty disorganized and neither James or I were there to meet the band on arrival, but our friend saw them into the venue and they were very flexible and happy to go with the flow and got set up really quickly. The whole band were keen to help and happily agreed to start the ceilidh a little later than planned, as well as letting me use the mic to make announcements! The 2 x 1 hour sets of ceilidh dancing were amazing and both the calling and music were fantastic - our guests absolutely loved every moment of it and have all said how much they enjoyed the music and dancing. Thank you very much to the whole band for an excellent evening, we would recommend you to anyone! "

"We really wanted a folk style band with a saxophone player which believe it or not seems to be harder to find than you would think and then we found you guys and we are so thankful that we chose you! "Apologies for the delay in posting our review. We got married on June 23rd 2022 at a beautiful country Manor House in the Cotswolds and had Stargazers play at our evening reception and they were fantastic! They absolutely smashed it, the room was full of energy and the choice of music was perfect. Not to mention the fact that they are all brilliant musicians. Also, I think they’re quite unique with Phoebe as the vocalist, really sets them apart. Also, we were really happy dealing with Rhona, their manager, through the process, she was very understanding and knew exactly what we wanted, which she helped deliver! Thank you so much for making our wedding night such a party! I would highly recommend! Best wishes!"

"Hiring a band is always a difficult experience and we could not have been in safer hands with Rich and the band! We wanted something special for the day time so we hired Billy to perform as a soloist for us and then the rest of the band performed in the evening. Everything was so special and the perfect accompaniment to our wedding day."
