"Fantastic band. Made it a proper party. Their music got everyone on the dance floor. Great pre- event communications with a member of the band. They delivered exactly what we wanted. Can not recommend highly enough."

"We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends. "I cannot recommend Georgia enough, she made my party!! Her whole style and how she sang all of the songs was stunning, I cannot stop re watching all of the videos of her from the day. Georgia gave us a list of songs to choose from beforehand and she sang them throughout her set. They all sounded beautiful and all the guests commented on how amazing Georgia was. My only regret of the day is that I couldn’t sit down and watch every minute of her performance to soak it up. My party was due to go ahead two years ago but due to a family bereavement it didn’t so this was a long time in the making and definitely worth the wait. Georgia definitely ticked all our boxes and we would highly recommend her :) "

"Kodiak Avenue performed for us in our garden on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Jayne's lovely voice soured above the murmur of the guests, complemented by the clever guitar accompaniment. Many friends and family complimented us on our choice. We let them choose their own set, but they were open to our suggestions and genuinely anxious to please. We loved having them perform for us and recommend them highly. It made a great day something special."

"We attended an Abba night at our local club and have to say it was a fantastic night. People were up dancing from start to finish and chanting for an encore. Highly recommended. Lovely people to talk to and made time at the end to speak to everyone and have photos."

"Oh what a night it was! Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio was the perfect choice for a celebration. They chose dances that matched the skill and enthusiasm of my guests. Setting the right pace is good when lots of guests belong to a running club! Guests from Hong Kong, Greece, Vietnam China and USA had no idea what they were coming to … The band arrived on time, setting up easily and Phil’s friendly manner of instruction was just right. My 6 year old niece (who is VERY shy) shocked her mother by joining the dancing! Lovely comments from guests: “I haven’t danced like that in years” and ” The most fun and dis-organised chaos I’ve had in ages!”"

"Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night. "The perfect blend of elegance and energy, with a charm that suited the setting beautifully. Southern Charm went above and beyond what we imagined. From their acoustic set during the afternoon to the full party later on, it felt like the music was designed for the space—the rolling countryside as their stage. They paced the evening seamlessly without us ever needing to intervene. Their timing, energy, and ability to read the room felt so natural, letting us simply enjoy every moment. And those vocals—absolutely breathtaking. Guests kept asking where on earth we’d discovered them. What stood out most was the warmth and authenticity they brought; nothing about it felt staged. They gave our wedding a sense of magic we’ll never forget."

"Wow what a night! We had an absolute ball, the band were fantastically talented and accommodating to a group of people who had never danced a Ceilidh before. There wasn’t a face in the room that didn’t have the biggest smile on it, can’t thank the team enough. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone needing a Ceilidh band."

"I booked Sarah and Ben to play at my 40th Birthday Party. They are the perfect duo. Sarah has the most beautiful, versatile voice and Ben is an extremely talented acoustic and electric guitarist, together they are incredible. We chatted beforehand so that they could get a good feeling for the type of music I wanted which ranged from 80’s cheese to modern chart hits. They delivered a fantastic playlist and created a wonderful atmosphere for the party over three live sets and a music playlist in between. It was so wonderful to be able to dance to music again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to Party like it’s 2019! Huge thanks to Sarah and Ben xx "
