Diamonds & Pearls are a collective based in London, UK.
They perform and enjoy a wide array of genres and put their own flavour on every song they cover. With a diverse taste that makes them stand apart from other bands, Diamonds & Pearls' unique repertoire features everything from jazz & funk to house & garage classics, neo-soul and RnB bangers - and you can even expect to hear some Latin-inspired numbers!
Individually, each band member has played at some of London's most prestigious venues (Jazz Cafe, The Ned, Gloucester Casino, The Shard etc) and with some of the UK's finest artists and emerging talent (Gabrielle, Laville, Desta French, Storry, Carla Prata to name just a few).
These guys are also more than happy to take a few specific song requests free of charge if you don’t already see your favourites on their existing setlist.

Our basic technical requirements are:
2-4 standard power sockets near the performance area
A small table or suitable surface for our mixing desk
Easy access to the performance area for loading in equipment
Approx 8ft x 6ft performance space (for 5 piece band)
A private area to get changed, take breaks, eat, and safely store personal belongings
A hot meal and refreshments for all bookings
We always aim to be as self-sufficient as possible, and these simple provisions allow me to prepare properly, stay energised, and deliver the best performance possible on the day.
Yes - we'll provide a professional PA system along with all the necessary equipment and cabling for the performance.
Lighting isn't included as standard, but we do offer optional lighting packages to suit everything from intimate performances to larger celebrations. Just let us know what you're planning, and we'll recommend the best setup for your event.
To help us prepare properly and ensure everything runs smoothly, we’ll need the following venue information:
Parking arrangements and access details for unloading equipment
A suitable private area/dressing room for breaks and storing personal belongings
Whether the venue has a sound limiter installed
Any other restrictions, curfews, or venue-specific requirements
Performance area details and access information
The more information we have in advance, the better we can tailor the setup and make sure the performance runs seamlessly on the day.
Yes, we can provide music before and between sets.
A curated playlist service is included for:
Up to 15 minutes before the performance begins
Up to 30 minutes during the break between sets
Additional playlist time before or after the performance is available at £50 per hour.
We also offer a DJ-style hosted music service at £125 per hour, where Zaz take care of the music throughout the event - managing the playlist, taking requests, making announcements via microphone where needed, and helping maintain the atmosphere and energy in the room. It’s a great option for clients who want the flow and interaction of a DJ experience without booking a separate DJ.
1.5 or 2 hours - these can be split into 2 or 3 sets and must be used within a 3 hour window.
Our standard set up is 5 piece with vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums.
For larger scale events we offer an 8 piece show band where we add another vocalist and 2 horn players.
For smaller events or wedding ceremonies we offer a duo.
Yes - as long as there is sufficient shelter (if rain is likely or in direct sun at the height of summer)
We welcome requests. We find the best way to do this is to send us a handful of songs and we will work out and let you know which ones are doable. We will happily do 2 specific song requests outside of our existing repertoire.
When it comes to choosing from our song list, we will ask you if there are a handful of "must hear" songs, and whether you have any "avoids". Then leave us to fill in the rest with the best songs - the crowd pleasers, the classics, and the ones we love the most too!
Clients usually say how well we gel as a band - and we have to agree! But the most common compliment we get is on our set list. We only play songs we love, not those tacky, overplayed songs everyone is sick of..!
