I only need a small performance space for solo gigs, and a parking space nearby.
I provide my own PA System for all of my gigs.
Any directions if the venue is not easily accessible or has limited parking, so I can find the best place to load in my equipment. I also need to know if there's a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes I can easily arrange a Spotify playlist to play music before, after and in between sets.
I first knew I wanted to perform when watching Passenger at the Children In Need Rocks concert in 2013. His stripped back style and melodic vocals were a huge influence on me as a performer, and I have since incorporated some of his music in my own repertoire.
I started gigging solo at 16 in local pubs. Since then I’ve developed into a solo, duo and band musician, performing at weddings, parties and different events up and down the South Coast.
Usually I perform 2 x 45 minute sets, but can do more if needed. My arrival time depends on what act I'm performing with, if I'm with a band we'll usually arrive 1 and a half hours before the performance to set up, but if it's an easier act to set up like a duo or solo performance, I arrive around half an hour before the performance.
I'm happy to play outside but I ask for shade in the summer and some kind of heating in the winter.
I'm happy to learn specific songs for events, but have also been asked to play songs during the performance and if I know them I'm happy to.
As a solo act I'd be described as laid back and easy going, with some songs to get people singing along.
