The Events Music Jazz Collective is a Jazz Band affiliated with the 'Events Music Collective'. This is a collective of some of the most talented young musicians playing for events in the UK. Most of the musicians in the collective are current or ex-students of Internationally renowned Conservatoires such as The Royal Academy Of Music, The Guildhall School Of Music and Drama and Trinity College Of Music. All of our musicians are of an extremely high quality.
The Events Music Jazz Collective is a very experienced group of young Jazz Musicians who in addition to playing music for events, play across the UK in the most highly regarded Jazz Clubs. For example, some of our members have:
* Supported Benny Golson at Ronnie Scotts
* Performed at Glastonbury Music Festivals
* Performed with Julian Arguelles at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival
* Performed with top US Musicians such as bass phenomenon Janek Gwizdala
The types of events our members regularly play for include Weddings, Corporate Functions, Private Parties and performances of background music in Hotels. We have a vast amount of experience of playing music at events and providing the perfect music to compliment any setting.

One mains plug socket is to be provided, within 10 feet of the performance area. If this is provided via an extension cable, then no other equipment can be shared with/plugged in to the same mains power supply socket. If the band are required to perform outside then adequate cover and flooring (or staging) must be provided.
We bring all our own sound equipment, but do not provide any additional lighting.
We will need to know any limitations set by the venue in advance - for example if there is a sound limiter or if the drummer is required to use hot rods. Please also let us know about parking at the venue and if possible, which entrance we should use to load in and load out our equipment.
We are happy to provide a spotify playlist before and in-between our sets. We're happy to chose music ourselves, or take recommendations from the client.
For indoor performances, we normally arrive 90 minutes before the performance to set up - though this can be earlier if required. We normally do 45 minute sets, but are happy to play longer or shorter sets to suit your event.
We are happy to perform outside, weather permitting. A covered area is required to protect the equipment, a large flat level surface and a power supply close to the stage.
We are happy to include specific songs on request, for a first dance for example - but we usually limit this to 3 songs per gig, and ask that they are within the remit of jazz repertoire. Our list is also non-exhaustive, so chances are if it's a jazz tune - we will probably know it already!
