JDS Band 3 piece cover band with a huge repertoire

We require 2x 13amp power sockets no more than 5 meters from performance area - if further advance notice should be given.

3 parking spaces (2 cars and one medium van)

We are a self sufficient band with full PA system for medium sized venues and a small lighting system

Please can you supply directions for the venue including unloading areas

Please also inform us if there is a sound limiter or any other restrictions in place

Best gig(s) - As a band we have had many great gigs from a charity event for local school on big stage with big sound lots of people dancing, to local pubs being small and intimate with lively audiences (Bay Horse, Sudbury / Walnut, Stowmarket / Queen’s Head, Burnham / Globe, Clare) and many Beer Festivals.

We take influences from Foo Fighters, Gorillaz, Bloodhound Gang, System of a Down, Kendrick Lamar, REM, The Other Favourites (Josh Turner).

Some of our favourite songs are The Bad Touch (BHG), Concerning Hobbits (Howard Shore), God only knows (Beach Boys), and I got you (REM)

Our experience has spanned collectively over decades, nationally and internationally. All stemming from local bands where we lived at the time.

All events are great fun but typically weddings where meals are included or where things are well organised and audiences are engaged.

We will arrive about 1 hour prior to the event to allow time to set up and perform relevant/necessary sound checks. Typical we play 2 x 1hr sets with a short break 15/20min. We find that these timings suit the audience best.

We are happy to perform outside however, we would need a covered area and a flat surface to play on. If it is extreme weather (extra hot / cold) then alternative arrangements must be made

Power needs to be close to the performance area.

Yes we have an extensive repertoire with over 500 songs and more than happy to take song requests (assume we know them) on the day or add extra songs - however, we may refuse depending on instrumentation and style. We have a sample Spotify song list of everything that we can play for you to get an idea of the variety

JDS are a unique band with an individual sound, creating a BIG sound from minimal instrumentation with the added bonus of our own brass (kazoo) section.
