I have played at many locations as solo or as part of a band. It would be difficult to name just one event but I would certainly like to let you know about the time I played at a wedding where the best-man wanted to sing a couple of songs . In the lead up to the wedding we met and rehearsed so he could feel prepared for the big day.

I have been performing music since I was 15 and loved every moment of it. Playing loads of weddings and even more pubs - I see these as the bread and butter of music and give chances for clients to come and see what we are like prior to booking.

Typically, I would arrive 1 hour prior to the performance, and perform 2 x 45/2 x 60 min (maximum of 30 min break) sets but happy to negotiate. Whilst I would play more typically I have found that audiences engage better in the shorter time slots

I am happy to play outside but will require power close to the performance area, shelter and a flat surface to perform on. In colder weather performance times may be reduced as this can have adverse effects on my vocals.

I am more than happy to learn specific songs before an event as long as the client is aware that due to instrumentation and vocal range; these might not be possible - I am no Pavarotti.
