Jess Hughes is a professional pianist and saxophonist based in Derbyshire. She is available to perform at weddings and events across the midlands.

Weddings:

Ceremony Music From £250 (For indoor ceremonies only)
Jess can provide you and your guests with beautiful piano music for your wedding ceremony. She can either perform on a venue piano if in the ceremony area (ie Stretton Manor Barn, The West Mills) or her professional portable electric piano.

Ceremony music will consist of:

20 mins pre-ceremony music whilst guests are taking their seats (extra pre-ceremony music time can be arranged)

Entrance Song

2-3 songs for the signing of the register

Exit Song

Requests can be made for any specific songs you would like for entrance/exit and register signing for no extra cost.

Drinks reception (From £350 for 90 mins) (Piano music for venues with a piano in drinks reception area only- i.e Stretton Manor Barn)

Due to the nature of drinks reception areas not always having the space for a stage piano to be set up and also lots of people wanting the drinks reception music to be outside, if you would like to add on music for your drinks reception on to your piano ceremony booking, I would recommend switching to me playing the saxophone with backing tracks for this part. The equipment takes up less space and can be set up in doorways facing outside etc which works well if there are limitations with outdoor music at your venue.

However, for couples getting married at Stretton Manor Barn, I regularly perform on the venue's grand piano for both the ceremony and the drinks reception as it is in a perfect location for both parts. Sax for the drinks ceremony instead of piano works well there too though!

Meal (From £400 for up 2 hours) (Piano music avaible on venue piano if in meal area ie Shottle Hall marquee or on portable stage piano if meal area has enough space for it)

Again, space in the meal area will need to be taken into consideration with piano bookings for the meal. You may wish to opt for saxophone with backing tracks instead as the equipment takes up less space and it can be fun to get the party started in this section of your big day!

Evening Entertainment (From £375 for 1 x 50 min set on dancefloor) - Sax only!
