Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I'm so grateful for many amazing experiences in my career, but hands down the best gig was singing with Sir Elton John and his band live at Wembley Stadium, broadcast globally to 130 million viewers for the Concert For Diana. I don't think I'll ever top that!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I am just a huge fan of music in general and have performed various genres from Opera to Rock with Musical Theatre in between. My influences stem from so many different artists, too many to mention, but if I had to name a few; Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Sir Elton John, Mariah Carey, Cher, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion & Queen.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My background is rooted in Musical Theatre, making my West End debut at 11 years old before going on to train at The Royal Academy of Music; since then, I've built a diverse career performing across the industry in everything from jazz trios and acoustic duos to party bands, tribute acts, cruise ship headline shows, and guest entertainment worldwide.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

It's hard to choose just one, as every event has its own unique energy - but what I love most is the moment music truly connects people. Whether it's an intimate wedding ceremony or a lively celebration, there's something special about creating an atmosphere where guests feel present, emotions are heightened, and memories are being made in real time. That shared experience is what makes every performance so meaningful to me.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

My standard performance options include either one 60-minute set or two 45-minute sets with interval music, depending on the style and flow of your event. I typically require around 60 minutes for set up and soundcheck prior to the performance, and approximately 30 minutes to pack down afterwards, ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally from start to finish.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes I am very happy to perform outdoors and love the atmosphere it can create; I just ask that a suitable contingency plan is in place in case of adverse weather, to ensure the performance and equipment are protected and everything runs smoothly.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I always work from a carefully curated repertoire of songs that I know work beautifully for events, but I'm very happy to tailor the set to suit your preferences and style. For weddings in particular, I'm more than happy to learn a special song for key moments such as walking down the aisle, ensuring it feels personal and meaningful, while keeping the overall performance polished and seamless.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as polished, engaging and effortlessly professional, with a voice that truly stands out and creates a memorable atmosphere. I'm regularly told how much guests connect with the music - whether that's bringing a sense of elegance to a room or lifting the energy when it's time to celebrate. Above all, people tend to remember how the performance made them feel, which is always my priority.
