I am completely self-contained so I will bring my own PA system to your event as well as some party lights!

It's handy to know the size of the venue so I know which sized PA to bring with me. Also if the parking has easy access for load in. If there are stairs I'll need to know.

Absolutely! I'll have a playlist ready that fits in with the Motown theme!

I've performed at so many weddings, events and gorgeous venues that it's really hard to pick a favourite! I love performing anywhere where the audience are enjoying themselves and I can interact with them!

My absolute favourite artist is Michael Jackson. Hence my love of The Jackson 5 and then all the other Motown artists.

I studied music at university and started gigging in function bands and with my own jazz quartet. Without giving my age away, I now have many years of experience behind me both performing solo and with other musicians.

I love weddings as everyone is always up for a good time but I've also played some amazing parties, corporate events and even bars and clubs. I guess it all depends on whether the audience are up for a good night!

I normally perform for 2x45 minute sets, although I am flexible and can play longer sets or I can add a set. Some clients ask for the second set to be focussed on a different decade or I can perform more of an all-round general party set - whatever you fancy!
I will usually arrive about an hour before I'm due to perform to make sure I'm set up and ready but if you need me to be set up earlier then let me know.

I'm happy to perform outside but I do require cover in case of rain or for shade if it is a really hot day.
I have a smaller battery powered speaker that I can use if there is no access to power but power is needed for my bigger system if it's more of a party atmosphere or a bigger area.

Of course. I'm always happy to talk through song choices and if there are a couple of songs you'd like that I don't know then I'll be happy to learn them. Just give me enough notice.

Previous clients comment on my interaction with the audience and I always have lovely comments about my voice which is always great to hear!

This tribute is to the classic songs of Motown but I'll probably add some similar songs from the same era (Northern Soul and general Soul). I can also add some 60's songs by artists such as Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark, etc.

I do offer other decade themed tributes as well though so if you'd like a set of 60's followed by a set of 80's for example then I can do that! Just ask!
