I played at a specific country and western club and the staging and compete were great and the audience really listened and loved the set, even line dancing to it

My dad in his country and western bands through the years is my performing hero. I love singing many classic country songs in my set that he performed too such as Gentle on my mind

I thoroughly enjoy band work and performing within a band, I have done some pub work with a band before. I have started gigging solo however as logistically it can be hard to get everyone together and I am passionate about my music and wanting to perform.
I have no social media so have established myself the old fashioned way by telephone, knocking on doors and turning up with my guitar to demo/audition. I do a lot of residential homes and retirement homes, a few charities, some local pubs and a couple of restaurants. Establishments always have me back and I have got a fairly regular clientele

When I have played at a home with people with special needs and less fortunate than myself, as it makes you realise how lucky I am . And they make you feel special, and welcome.

I like country songs because they tell a story and a meaningful , and I love the way the guitar sounds

I would arrive , 40 minutes, before starting, and do 2 ×45 minutes sets , I am happy to play a little shorter or longer,but I've found that these set times suit us and our audience s best

I am happy to perform outside , but I would ask for shade , a flat surface and a power supply close to performance area.i have a set

I could learn a few songs before hand ,along as there in my genre. Preferably country songs,and I have a set list to which I try to sing from

People say I have a good country set list , I do slot if the old classics, and usually I have good feed back , for my voice and guitar playing . I try to put my heart and soul into my music
