Luce Solo acoustic singer-guitarist playing well-loved hits from the 60s to now

I need a performance space of roughly 2m x 2m, one 13 amp socket within reach, and a parking space. For smaller rooms — up to around 60 people — I bring my own microphone and a compact amplifier, which is all the sound the space needs. For larger rooms, marquees or outdoor events I ask that a PA system is provided, either by the venue or by your event's sound engineer. I can bring my own microphone, stand, and cables either way, and I'm entirely comfortable plugging into whatever's there.

If there are other acts or a DJ on the bill, it helps to know the running order so we can share the space sensibly.

Not at the moment — I'd suggest running a playlist through the venue's system, and I'm very happy to help you put one together that flows with the live sets so the atmosphere doesn't drop between them.

Singing during both my cousins' wedding ceremonies have to come top of my list - so meaningful and a privilege to be part of their special day. The best venue I've played at is Islington Assembly Hall - full band, a great line up - I felt like a rockstar.

Since I was 11, with my portable CD player and headphones, I've been a Swiftie. I remember singing my parody of her song 'Hey, Stephen' for my school's production of a Shakespeare play when I was 12 ('Hey, Donkey'), and 'Love Story' being my go-to karaoke. More recently, I love Kacey Musgraves - her angelic voice alongside her wit and wisdom in her songcraft is what I aspire to, in my own way. Alanis Morissette's attitude and KT Tunstall's stage presence are also big influences. For me, the greatest song changes all the time but an album that never lets me down in Kacey Musgraves' 'Golden Hour'.

My experience of singing professionally is vast. From pub gigs and busking in a duo at 15, to singing in an acapella group at Uni, to hosting my own live music night and interviewing guest songwriters in London in my mid 20s, I now live a patchwork career as both a recording singer-songwriter and a live singer (solo or with accompaniment). In recent years, I've joined bands as a guest vocalist for Country music nights, seen beautiful transformations in care home residents singing memorable hits through the decades, sang live for modern Jive freestyles, and entertained family crowds at village fetes and town festivals with acoustic versions of popular songs and my own originals.

Anywhere the people are interested in music - I love getting the crowd to sing-along - it brings me joy to see people dancing and singing.

I can arrive an hour before I'm due to start so I can set up and soundcheck without an audience in the room. I usually play 2 x 45 minute sets with a break in between, or a single continuous 60 minute set for shorter events like drinks receptions. I'm flexible on timings — just tell me the shape of your day and I'll fit around it.

Yes, with a few conditions. I need shade or cover over the performance area — guitars and direct sun don't get on, and neither do guitars and rain — plus a flat, level surface and a power supply nearby. For anything outdoors with more than a small crowd, a PA will be needed, as an acoustic guitar and voice don't carry far in open air.

I'm always open to a conversation. You're welcome to pick songs from my list, ask me to avoid anything, or tell me the mood you want and let me build the set. I'm also happy to learn songs specifically for your event — usually up to three, with at least four weeks' notice. If a song genuinely won't work for one voice and a guitar I'll tell you honestly and suggest something close.

I'm often told how beautiful my voice is which makes for pleasant listening — with enough energy behind it to lift a room when that's what's needed. People often comment on my stage presence, enjoying my in-between-ness.
