Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

What information do you require about a venue?

Lucy appreciates receiving key venue details in advance to ensure a smooth setup and performance. This includes directions to the venue, information on parking and load-in access, and whether a PA system is available on site. It’s also helpful to know the performance location within the venue and whether any shelter is provided for outdoor events. Clear communication ahead of time helps everything run smoothly on the day.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, Lucy offers to play music from Spotify before, in-between and after the set. She also offers a DJ service as an add-on.

Yes, all my equipment is PAT tested and safe to use

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

All gigs to me are super special as you never know who you meet and how they will make the experience for you. However a massive one for me was supporting Nile Rodgers for the first time at Scarborough Open Air Theatre in front of 8000 people! We turned around and he was stood there watching us! Unreal moment and I wish I could experience it for the first time again.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

This is a really hard question as my choices change frequently as I am discovering new music daily! For me right now, Raye is my favourite artist, the musicianship with her band, the jazz, the ballads, I love it all! I would say I am most influenced by who I listen to and that changes all the time. Saxophonist wise, Tom Richards is a huge inspiration for me and what he does with the Heritage Orchestra.
The greatest song of all time isn't a difficult question however...Kiss from a Rose by Seal. Magic.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been gigging since a very young age, joining the local wind orchestras and jazz bands. My first major gig with the saxophone was in 2019, when I supported Jess Glynne with my band. That was pretty scary but amazing.
I perform at events and works as a session musician, covering club nights, weddings, birthdays, and a wide range of private and corporate functions. In 2026, I expanded my portfolio of live and studio work, exploring new collaborations, and developing my DJ skills to take events to the next level. With experience across multiple instruments including saxophone, piano, flute, and vocals.
The originals band I am in over the past few years has performed support shows for artists including Nile Rodgers, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Robbie Williams, Rick Astley, Jess Glynne, Madness, and Olly Murs.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love a wedding. Not just the performing part. I love the love in the air, people dressing up, just letting their hair down. It is joyous to be a small of of the couples day. But I also love club nights, they are so fun and easy to get people dancing, just get a bit of Beyonce on and everyones filling the floor!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Typical performance times:
2 x 45 minutes
2 x 60 minutes
3 x 45 minutes
3 x 60 minutes
Any more time (up to 6 hours)
This can be discussed further and tailored to your event.
Arrival is usually around 2 hours before the performance to set up.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely! As long as there is a power supply (unless it's an acoustic performance).

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I tailor to each event and what audience is going to be like. I love to create a bespoke playlist with the client before hand. So some songs are set, but the majority are based off what the client would like.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Depending on the time of the performance...

Slower performances: Engaging, soft, easy listening
Higher energy performances: Fun, floor fillers and buzzing

Are you able to roam freely?

Yes, I have a wireless mic setup, that allows me to roam freely round the venue and joining you on the dance floor!

Do you offer DJ services?

Yes. I can either DJ myself with added sax sets in between, or I can offer a DJ externally. Both options are add-ons and a different fee.
