Nigel played at our wedding at Holmewood Hall in March 2020. He played during the drinks reception, and was absolutely fantastic! There were numerous compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed Nigel's playing. He also took requests which was brilliant! I would not hesitate to recommend Nigel, thank you so much again!

Nigel played piano for our wedding ceremony and reception in March 2020 at Chicheley Hall. Throughout the whole planning process Nigel was fantastic, always happy to talk through ideas, give his professional advice and accomodate special requests. Even on the day there were some last minute changes to the set up of our ceremony due to the coronavirus situation, but to look at Nigel you'd have thought that it had always been planned that way. The music itself was amazing, beautifully played by Nigel and added a lovely relaxed and happy ambience to our day - many guests commented on it, including those watching the live stream video at home! Thank you so much Nigel!

Nigel was amazing, he played as everyone arrived, my entrance and during the canapes and photographs - the music he played was perfect and really set the mood for our wedding.

After hearing Nigel play at a wedding fair in October, we decided to book him for our wedding at the Milling Barn in December, we were so pleased when he said he was available for our big day. Nigel played for our wedding in December at Prestwold Hall. His music was truly beautiful and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Having the piano in the background created a lovely atmosphere for our guests as they arrived and waited for our ceremony to begin, and was beautifully uplifting as we walked out as husband and wife.
Our venue has multiple rooms that guests can choose to mingle in, and I’ve had so many of them tell me how surprised they were that Nigel was still playing in our ceremony room after our photographs.
The process of booking was really quick and easy, and Nigel was a real professional throughout the whole process.

Nigel was amazing, he communicated very professionally and took his time to ensure we had just what we wanted. Nigel is a total professional and has a great ear for music and plays sensitively with emotion and passion. You can choose from an array of songs and if it’s not in Nigel's extensive repertoire, you do as we did and ask Nigel to play a specific piece for your big day, he was truly amazing and we got just what we wanted.
If you are looking for your own personal piano player I cannot recommend Nigel enough, he has his own set up and quality PA System, which is aesthetically pleasing.
Whatever your event or whatever genre you need pop songs, jazz, classical or you own special piece.

The pianist (Wednesday night – Nigel Hammond) was superb creating a delightful ambiance in the bar area and our dinner was delicious and served with style.

We recently got married at Holmewood Hall in Cambridgeshire and decided it would be lovely to make use of the baby grand piano for our drinks reception. We really struggled to find a local pianist but after much searching online I came across the lovely Nigel who was willing to travel. He had such wonderful reviews, that despite not having actually met him, we decided to book him anyway.

From our initial enquiry he was so prompt and professional with organising all the details to meet our requirements, which gave us further confidence we’d made the right decision.

On the day he played so very beautifully and it created such a lovely atmosphere in the hall. You’d never have thought it was his first time playing on their baby grand piano. Lots of our guests commented not only on the music but also how nice Nigel was when they had spoken to him. Our two little boys were over the moon when he played them the jungle book medley!

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nigel to anyone else looking for their wedding.

Nigel performed during our wedding breakfast at the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes East. His music performance made a beautiful addition to our day and we received many compliments. A number of our guests recognised different songs and it made it very memorable. Prior to the day, Nigel kept in contact and was very professional asking us if we had any special requests and offering a comprehensive repertoire to suit many different tastes and showcase his talent. A very nice touch we thought was that although we had no special requests, Nigel himself noticed that our table plans were named after some of our favourite Disney films, and he took it upon himself last minute to play some of the well known songs from them. Again we had so many compliments and it was very thoughtful of him! We would have no hesitation in recommending him and really felt it made our day complete.

Our Wedding reception in October. Nigel played in the arrival lounge and then for a couple of hours during food service. It gave a very nice ambience to the evening, and we had many comments as to how good he was, and how nice it was to hear the music in the background, that was not intrusive to their conversations.

My 80th birthday celebration was held at Woughton House Hotel Milton Keynes. To compliment the day Nigel Hammond an accomplished Pianist really made the day wonderful. He not only played music requested but also played a wide variety of songs of his own choice A really talented pianist

Some Irish and more widely based music from the duo (Nigel Hammond on Piano performing with Joe Boland on Violin and Melodeon), sound level just right, miles better than a disco- live music! Excellent musicians. Wedding at the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes East. Recommended.

Nigel played for us at our wedding. The event was at The Doubletree Hilton. Nigel was brilliant, he played so well everyone remarked at hoe lovely he played. We could not have been happier. He was so caring and considerate, the piano was made to look lovely and fitted in with our theme. I first met Nigel at a Wedding Fayre and never in my wildest dreams did I think my dream could come true in having a pianist at my wedding but it did. He even learnt a new song for our isle exit. He is really easy to talk to and gives 110% to his service. Nigel was happy to come up with a playlist but also happy for me to ask him to play particular songs from his long list of ones he has learnt. He is very genuine and music skills are amazing. Nigel's piano transformed the atmosphere in the resort bar (at Wyboston Lakes). Delegates heard Nigel playing as they left the dining room and were attracted to stop and listen. We expected the piano to be background music but Nigel chose just the right music and performed so well that many people just listened as to a concert. The overall effect was, as we had hoped, that more people engaged with the evening events and entertainments for the rest of the week. Tremendous success; all thanks to Nigel.

Nigel played for my wedding ceremony and reception drinks at Wyboston lakes. Nigel was fantastic and was by far my favourite supplier that I booked. He was so professional and accommodating, Nigel made the whole booking process stress free and was very quick at getting back to me whenever I had enquires. Nigel played for us at my 70th birthday lunch at the MK Gallery Sky Room. He played for 2 and 1/2 hours during the lunch service (even though I'd only paid for 2 hours!) We hired Nigel to play at our wedding at Shuttleworth House . Nigel played when guests arrived, we chatted to Nigel as to our favourite songs which he would play. I also walked down the aisle to Nigel playing my entry music....it was truly magical. We had the most amazing day made all the better by having Nigel playing and entertaining our guests. We had a number of children at the venue, and part way through a song the children gathered round the piano to which Nigel quickly changed the song to teddy bears picnic....wow! They were made up and so were are guests, what a lovely thing to do. Great communication with Nigel, weddings can be stressful but he was so easy to work with, had great ideas as to what to play and how to move around the rooms. I really couldn’t recommend him high enough!

Nigel played before, during and after the service (At the Cross & Stable Church). He was great to work with and spend time before the ceremony ensuring the playlist was right for us. We had Nigel play at our wedding blessing (At Gayhurst Manor). We really wanted to have a piano to accompany our friend who is a violinist during the church service. Nigel went above and beyond to meet regularly with the violinist prior to the day to practise and he was just amazing on the day. He then played during our sit down meal and was extremely well received by all our guests. We have stayed in the hotel before and really enjoyed it, and booked a meal this evening for Valentine’s Day celebration. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
