Highly Recommend! I would like to write this review for Nigel; I originally met Nigel at an event and through discussion, he started playing a song we started talking about (Jurassic Park Theme song lol) which was fab! I was later engaged and contacted Nigel to ask if he would be available for our wedding - Luckily he was! From outset he was prompt with his responses, gave us enough information to digest, shared his song list and also gave us the choice to pick something outside of his list that he could learn. I have to say Nigel, Thank you. Thank you for your professionalism, thank you for your time and entertaining our guests... even the impromptu sweet child of mine duet that randomly happened lol (The content online has been so good!) Thank you for being a key part of our special day. We received so many compliments about the day and you came up every time.

We booked Nigel for our wedding hoping he would be a great addition to our day, but you never truly know until you see someone perform. As it happened, Nigel had also been the pianist at my cousin’s wedding, so we already had some confidence in our choice, and he certainly did not disappoint.

Not only is Nigel a fantastic pianist, but you can genuinely see how much he enjoys what he does. He interacted with our guests where possible, happily played song requests, and read the room perfectly. He delivered all the important songs at key moments throughout the day, helping to make those memories even more special.

Having experienced Nigel both as a wedding guest and as a customer, I can honestly recommend him to anyone looking for live music for their event. He can create a wonderfully romantic atmosphere when needed, but can also mix things up and bring a fun, entertaining energy to the occasion.

We cannot thank Nigel enough for how special he made our day. I always knew I wanted a pianist for our wedding day and honestly, Nigel far exceeded all expectations I had.
Straight after booking Nigel, communication was super clear throughout the planning process. Nigel had an extensive set list but was also open to two requests I made that weren't included. He even sent recordings of these several weeks before the wedding, which not only gave me the reassurance I needed, but also filled me with excitement that Nigel was able to bring our ideas to life.
On the wedding day itself, despite the ceremony being delayed by over an hour due to my vehicle breaking down, Nigel was able to fill this time with a gorgeous recital of music - something way beyond what he was expected to do. The ceremony itself was enhanced beautifully by his incredible playing throughout and I am so grateful for this.
Nigel was also then able to quickly transport his piano to the reception venue and was ready then to also play for our breakfast. He played all of our requests that we made prior to the day, making this part of our day so incredibly special, and he even threw in some tunes that catered for our young children in attendance.

We hired Nigel to play during our ceremony, drinks reception and dinner at our wedding at Shuttleworth House last week, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.

Nigel was one of the very first suppliers we met when planning our wedding, and from that moment we knew we had to book him. He's warm, friendly, professional and incredibly talented.

Nigel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He is such a talented pianist, and his music brought a truly emotional and magical atmosphere to our wedding day.

An amazing pianist, he has such a wide repertoire of different genres and is happy to take on learning other tracks specific to your requirements. We booked Nigel to play for the guests arrival and during the time between the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

We supplied a list of tunes we did want and also a list of specific artists music we wanted to avoid and then asked him to “read the room”, after all, he does this more often than we do! The music was unobtrusive yet also very present and many guests remarked on the music choice and what a wonderful musician he is. We can’t recommend him highly enough. From the moment we contacted Nigel he was nothing but helpful! He responded quickly to emails with a warm, welcoming approach. We shared our thoughts over email and then video called him to finalise the genres we liked and highlight the types of songs we wanted. The venue we had chosen had quite strict rules in regards to amplified music. Nigel was more than happy to liaise with our wedding planner which put as at ease. We also really appreciated his questionnaire that asked what our colour scheme was and what suits the groomsmen would be wearing. we really liked that he puts thought into not clashing or matching them. Guests don’t even think of this at times, so thanks Nigel :)!

On the day Nigel played the venue’s piano and his own mobile one. It was so beautiful to have him there. Our guests loved listening to his music during our drinks reception.

Don't even know where to start.... Nigel was amazing from beginning to end 💕
I found Nigel through my recommendation list through my wedding venue (huntsmill farm) and they were absolutely spot on to recommend him as he was simply amazing 😊
Even though I booked Nigel way in advance he was very happy to communicate with me as often as needed! I wasn't afraid to be myself and put to him requests that may not be the usual one's he would be asked to perform, so when I requested he played creep by Radiohead when I walked down the aisle he didn't even question it or hesitate, he simply put 2 demos together for me to choose from and when I heard the softer version I cried! This was exactly what I wanted and knew my partner would love too ❤️ and this proved to be true as on our wedding day Nigel delivered it so perfectly it showed in my partners emotions as I walked towards him 😍 Nigel performed every song I requested so beautifully and also his own songs too ( never did i ever think Thomas the tank engine could sound so romantic) I couldn't recommend this man highly enough ❤️

" I have a wonderful job because I am effectively paid to gate crash people's weddings as long as I play the piano" my response was " for us you wasn't a gate crasher, you were very much a valuable guest, you played an extremely important part of our day, and made it just as special as every person there" and I stand by that!

We first saw Nigel at a wedding fair at Plum Park and we were both impressed by the seemingly effortless way he played from memory and he seemed like a very friendly guy.

Once we had booked our date we discussed having Nigel play and decided the money would be better spent elsewhere so we reluctantly decided to just use a playlist, but I knew how much Kevin had liked the idea of live music so I contacted Nigel in secret to book him for our ceremony and wedding breakfast as a gift.

Nigel was super responsive and really up for keeping the surprise a secret as long as possible. I chose the music from Nigel’s huge repertoire based on what we’d planned from a Spotify playlist and as we wanted our exit tune to be Happy Together by the Turtles, Nigel learnt this specifically for us.

Nigel was fantastic on the day, texting me to let me know he was there and had set up without being spotted. Some of our guests were tasked with keeping Kevin away from the ceremony room and we managed to keep the surprise right up until his registrar interview.

We had set up a camera near the piano to video the speeches. Without any prompting Nigel kindly turned this to each person speaking so we got each speech perfectly in shot too, a small extra thing which meant the world to us.

Many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was and his playing set a wonderful tone for our day. I’m so glad I decided to book him and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

Nigel was very communicative during the process of booking and preparations which meant that his work on the day went so smoothly. His piano playing was so beautiful and captured the feelings that we shared throughout all the moments of the day. He made an arrangement for us of our song 'Dog days are over' and it was so incredibly beautiful. I honestly could not recommend him more if you want flawless piano playing throughout your day.

We booked Nigel to play at home for my mum and dad's 50th wedding anniversary, as my dad was ill, and it was just a few of us. Nigel was an absolute gem of a find. In my initial dealings with him he was really quick to get back to me with replies to all my questions, he was helpful and very efficient. On the actual day he was so sensitive and attentive - we couldn't have found a better person to handle a very personal and intimate moment for the family. Nigel played all the music that my dad used to play so it was very emotional. He was so sociable, laughed along with us and he was just such a pleasure to have in the house. Nigel was able to create a memory for everyone there that we will never forget. My mum and dad have photos of the event up on the wall as they loved it so much. We had Nigel perform at our wedding in early December 2025. He joined us for the ceremony, reception and meal, and did an absolutely fantastic job. His music really complimented the day, creating just the mood we wanted for each part. The booking process was so easy and he has a massive range of pieces he can draw upon. It was really quite special hearing what we had chosen played throughout the day. I would highly recommend for any events/weddings.

We just wanted to say a personal thank you to Nigel. He played at our wedding on 04.10.2025, we had booked Nigel late into our wedding planning as we were so undecided on what we would be walking down the aisle to. We had been at a wedding event at Plum Park Manor (our venue) where Nigel was playing and the atmosphere was brilliant! We knew we wanted to have Nigel and luckily he had a cancellation and we was able to book. As the wedding was close, we had to decide on our music fairly quickly and the experience was so easy and straightforward. We had the pleasure of having Nigel play at our wedding for both the ceremony and the lunch. His timing and instincts matched the flow of the day perfectly, and he even learned a custom mix of two songs for the bride’s entrance. His catalogue spans everything from classical to contemporary, we struggled to choose! Our guests gave him many compliments for both his range and skill. Our only regret is that we don’t have another wedding to book him for!

Nigel was fantastic. He has such a large repertoire of songs at his disposal, but when we decided that we would like something not on his list, he learnt a song specifically for us. If you do one thing after reading this review, it’s book Nigel as your pianist for whatever occasion you have! We first met Nigel at a wedding fair in Bedford and we knew from hearing him play, that we wanted him part of our wedding day - and we are so thrilled we did! Nigel is exceptional - he played for ceremony sit down, ceremony, and drinks reception (outside); his repertoire of songs and genres he can play, by memory we must add, is phenomenal! He’s also one of the most organised vendors ever - very slick planning process which made it so easy, he’s so calm, approachable, helpful and friendly! Nigel kindly sent Jen (bride) examples of him playing a shortlist of tunes to help her decide which one to select for her aisle song! He’s always been so responsive on email (even when he was on holiday)! On the day, Nigel was super professional, decorated his piano with flowers that matched our colour theme perfectly, and played songs that were perfect for the mood and setting; he even spontaneously started playing ‘consider yourself’ from Oliver when the group family photo was being done which went down a great treat (and triggered an impromptu singalong by the family!) Just brilliant, and received a lot of compliments from our guests! Our wedding was held at Tewinbury Farm which was a new venue for Nigel (at the time) and he was so open to this, not phased at all and did his own research and made his own contact with the venue to make sure he knew where to be on the day - as we say, a true professional and couldn’t recommend more!

My mum booked Nigel for us as a gift for our wedding and I am so so pleased she did, it really made our day so special and added that extra layer of elegance to our wedding day. We met Nigel at an open day at our wedding venue and we (and our grandparents) loved his music and charm, and felt it would add a real personal touch to the wedding. We were absolutely right. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of planning our wedding music with Nigel. Nigel was fantastic at our wedding! We would highly recommend him if you're looking for a wedding pianist. He fit in perfectly at our beautiful venue (Stowe House in Buckinghamshire) and played during guest seating and throughout our ceremony.

One of the most special moments for us was the bridal procession. I had asked Nigel to learn one of my favourite worship songs and he delivered it beautifully. It meant so much to us, especially as it's a song my husband and I both love. His timing, even with our large bridal party, was impeccable. I can’t wait to watch the full wedding video and relive it all, it truly felt magical!

Nigel is a delightful character to work with. He has a very easy manner and a broad repertoire - and he is very eager to fit in with the overall vibe of your event, whether it be interrogating you on the mood of music you want, the colour schemes of your wardrobe, the flowers, the amount of time it will take for you to walk up the aisle... Our wedding was at Horwood House and he knows the venue inside and out, so was very helpful in making sure everything was set up perfectly.
His planning is meticulous and entirely focused on making it YOUR event. In our case, we had an additional quirk as we wanted some friends to play for us and Nigel took it upon himself to liaise with them directly to create probably the most stunning moment of the whole day. People were actually watching the musicians instead of the wedding procession.

Nigel played at our wedding on the 9th December 2023 and I can honestly say when I look back out our day the music was one of the biggest highlights for me.
From our very first contact right up until the big day Nigel’s communication was amazing, always prompt to reply and nothing was too much bother. Six weeks before our wedding we actually changed our wedding venue and I called Nigel in such a panic as I was stressed but he was so great at calming me down and reassuring me that everything would be okay, and he was right, it was just perfect.
Everybody that came to the wedding complimented the music and I myself started crying the moment my song started playing as I was about to walk down the aisle, it sounded perfect.
There was a specific part of the song that I wanted to enter to and Nigel managed to time it perfectly without compromising on the quality of the playing.
In addition, I was sad that I didn’t get to hear any of the music played before my arrival but I didn’t need to fear, Nigel was kind enough to send me a beautifully put together set list of the music that was performed, this is something that I will treasure.
Nigel also recorded many of the songs on his GoPro and promptly sent these recordings to me. To watch my guests arriving, seeing my husband nervous before I arrive and watching myself walk down the aisle was truly magical and I will look back on this videos for years to come.

What can we say, Nigel was a fantastic edition to our weeding day,

On the build up to our wedding we had spent a lot of time listening to piano based music trying to find something suitable for various parts of the day. People entering the ceremony, the bridal walk, the music during dinner etc, we then stumbled accros Nigel who was local to us in Milton Keynes, not only did he provide a wide range of fantastic music for weddings he also allowed us some requests of which added a personal touch to our day. It felt a privilege that Nigel had taken the time to learn some songs that had been apart of our journey as a couple, it was beautiful to hear them on the day to not only settle the nerves but to have our guests recognise them!!

It was my wife's idea to have Nigel play at our wedding and after she had the idea I thought that sounds nice and a bit different. It was great to have Nigel play at the wedding and it gave the wedding music a more personal touch than just having recorded music. This was particularly the case with the Bridal Procession when you felt you could have been in a church. Nigel was very professional and unobtrusive. We left him to pick the playlist and he played a great variety of different tunes.

An absolute star of a pianist! We met Nigel at a wedding fair, he was enthusiastic, happy and has such large repertoire committed to memory - like crazy large!
