We're a band of top-tier session musicians and lifelong friends with years of national and international touring experience, ready to bring you an unforgettable night of live music.
Whilst Weddings and Corporate Events are our speciality, with long-standing clients like Balfour Winery and Spadework, we’ve brought live music to hundreds of these occasions. Our scalable setup makes us the perfect choice for any event, big or small.
Our Basic core team consists of 4 Members - Female Lead Vocals, Male Lead Vocals/ Electric Guitar/Keyboards, Bass Guitar, and Drums. This affordable option works great for weddings on a budget, birthday parties, and anywhere where space might be a consideration!
Our Most popular show is our 5 piece band: Consisting of Female Lead Vocals, Male Lead Vocals/ Electric Guitar/Keyboards, dedicated Keyboards, Bass Guitar, and Drums. This Full line line up is the real deal! All of your favourite 80s songs come to life with powerful synth lines, immaculate guitar solos, and powerhouse vocals that will have you air grabbing to all of your favourite balads, and dacing all night long!
6 Piece and Up: Our incredible network of session musicians means that the sky is the limit for how many musicians you want - Want sax? We've got a guy! A full horn section? No worries! If you can dream it, we can provide it! (Provided the room is big enough!)

We're not just your average 80s band. We can provide a jazz-lounge or acoustic folk duo for your special day or important event, as well as a DJ service that can provided with any band booking.
80's isn't for you? That's no problem - whilst we specialise in 80s pop and rock, our Master setlist includes over 300 songs from 1960 through to 2025 - so there's something for everybody!

Due to the scalable nature of the band, basic requirements will vary depending on the show, however, some minimal requirements include 2x 13 amp sockets, 3 parking spaces or loading space for 3 cars. If outside, a cover will be required in the event of rain, and if possible a backup generator should be available in the event that the occasion is far away from mains sockets.
All equipment is supplied - as a self contained band all equipment is pat tested, and maintained to the highest quality - which includes professional sound and lighting equipment.
Any basic information about the venue should be provided wherever possible! We need to know whether there is a sound limiter, where we are supposed to load equipment in and out, and where we can park cars for the duration of the gig, and any other information that may impact on our ability to commence or provide a performance.
A basic Spotify service will be provided between sets, and a DJ service can be booked with any band booking.
It's so hard to choose our 'Best Gig' - we've loved every second of working with so many of our incredible corporate clients, and our amazing couples who hire us for their wedding.
We're influenced by everything 80s - from Toto to Madonna, and everything in between - however I think we'd all agree that the greatest song of all time has to be Grace by Jeff Buckley.
We've all been gigging since childhood, with members having played sold out stadiums, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and working with several well known and respected bands from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. New Wave Collective Members have performed together and separately all over the world, including Egypt, Switzerland, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy and Turkeye.
We love playing all kinds of events, but we love weddings and Birthdays! It's so special to be invited into someone's special day, and to help make it everything they've dreamt of!
We normally arrive 2 to 2 and a half hours before the performance to set up: This gives us a decent amount of time to rig the PA and lighting, as well as soundcheck effectively! We like to ensure that your day goes as smoothly as possible, so we always like to have enough time to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
We typically offer 2 or 3 x 45 minute sets, depending on budget and expectation, but also can offer multiple services throughout the day, including solo, duo, or trio performances, and DJ performances afterwards. As our service is completely bespoke, we can operate to your times.
We are happy to perform outside, however we request basic cover in the event of intense sun or rain, a flat dry surface, and access to at least 2 mains power supplies to be able to run everything effectively! (Note - this is 2 separate mains plugs, not 1 extension lead with 2 sockets - this is so that equipment can all draw enough power effectively).
We will always play your first dance, and any subsequent important dances for free. Additionally to this, we will learn 5 specific requests for free. After that we charge for additional requests, however we will work closely with you for your setlist to ensure that your day is as perfect as possible, and we have a master setlist of over 300 songs that you can choose from! Additionally, always ask if you're curious about other songs - if they're not on our song list, but we know it, we're more than happy to throw it in for free!
