The Pocket Rockers More than Music, More than a band, A live music experience.

We are a fully self-contained band and aim to make things as straightforward as possible for the venue and organiser.

We require:

• Parking for up to 5 cars, although we can condense this to 3 where necessary
• Suitable changing facilities and somewhere secure to store gig bags/equipment
• 2 x double electrical sockets
• Any relevant venue information regarding access, sound limiters and available storage

We do not expect to be fed, although we appreciate being made aware in advance if food is available to performers.

Yes.

We are completely self-contained and provide our own professional PA system together with stage and dancefloor lighting.

Before the event, we'd like to know about access, parking, sound limiters and whether there is a suitable area for storing equipment.

We're also happy to communicate directly with the venue or event organiser where required.

Yes.

We provide a playlist service free of charge as standard.

Clients are welcome to provide requests in advance and we can incorporate these into the playlist around the live performance.

The playlist is unmanned while we are setting up, preparing for the show or packing away.

We've been lucky enough to perform at a wide variety of events and venues, from weddings and private celebrations to corporate events, festivals and large public venues.

Some of the venues we've performed at include St Mary's Stadium, the Ageas Bowl, Bournemouth Pier and Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

For us, though, the best gigs are the ones where the room comes alive — regardless of whether that's a huge crowd or a smaller celebration.

Between the four of us, our musical influences cover a huge range of artists, genres and generations.

From classic rock and indie to pop, party anthems and modern favourites, our approach is simple:

If it gets people singing, dancing and joining in, we're interested.

As for the greatest song of all time... we'll probably have to leave that argument until after the gig.

The members of The Pocket Rockers have many years of live performance experience, having performed in a variety of bands and musical projects across the UK and internationally.

Between us, our experience includes tribute shows, festivals, weddings, corporate events and large-scale live performances — including performing in the USA and opening for major touring acts.

That experience means we understand that putting on a great show is about much more than simply knowing the songs.

It's about performance, timing, professionalism, reading the room and knowing how to bring an audience with you.

We genuinely enjoy the variety.

A wedding, corporate event, holiday park, festival or private party can all create a completely different atmosphere — and that's part of what makes live performance exciting.

Whether we're playing to a packed dance floor or a smaller crowd, we bring the same energy, professionalism and interaction to every performance.

Our favourite type of event is simply one where the audience wants to get involved.

Yes.

If we know in advance that your venue operates a sound limiter, we can bring an electric drum kit and adjust our setup accordingly.

Our sound technician can monitor levels throughout the performance, helping us maintain the best possible sound while working within the venue's requirements.

We'll always work with the venue to make the evening run smoothly.

Our standard performance is 2 x 60-minute live sets, giving you up to two hours of live music with carefully paced sets designed to keep the energy building throughout the evening.

Where timings or venue restrictions require it, we can also offer:

• 2 x 45-minute sets
• 1 x 90-minute set

We're happy to discuss the format that works best for your event.

We normally arrive around 90 minutes before the performance to unload, set up and complete our soundcheck.

Once we're ready, we can provide our DJ-style playlist until it's time for the live show to begin.

Our standard live music finish is around 23:30, with the playlist continuing until 00:00, although we're happy to work around your venue's permitted timings.

Weather dependent, absolutely.

We ask for a suitable shaded and covered performance area where possible, particularly to protect equipment from direct sunlight and changing weather conditions.

Our live show is built around a carefully selected and rehearsed setlist that we know works well for energy, atmosphere and audience interaction.

We're always happy to discuss special songs or requests that are important to you, and we'll use our experience to decide where they work best within the show.

The aim is to make the performance feel personal to your event while maintaining the flow and energy that makes the Pocket Rockers show work.
