Hi, I'm Pure Pop Sax.
I’m a Glasgow-based saxophonist with over 20 years of playing and performing experience. My sets are an eclectic mix of iconic, feel-good, pop music to create only the best vibe for your special occasion.
My approach is simple: play good music, and play it well. No gimmicks, no posturing - just great music that people love and connect with.
As a formally trained musician (BA hons Popular World Music, MA Music), I combine deep musical knowledge with a passion for performing.
I’m also a trained sound engineer which means that every track is carefully edited, mixed and mastered to set the best possible tone for your event.

I have my own portable PA (Evolve 50m) which works for crowds up to 100 people. For this I just need a mains power supply.

I have a degree and masters degree in music and popular and world musics. Grade 8 on sax (at the age of 16) and practise nearly everyday. Always played and performed.
I like all, but intimate ones for people who love their music are the most satisfying for me.
Arrive 30 mins before a performance, Usually play 1 x 60 minute set which can be at any time in the day.
