Very little! My PA is battery powered so I don't even need a plug socket and can set up anywhere indoors or outdoors. If playing outside, a parasol or standing umbrella in case of rain is required.

I will bring my own PA for solo sets. For playing alongside a DJ, I will bring a wireless mic system for my sax and an XLR cable.

I started playing professionally around 2016, but I was gigging way before this. I was lucky enough to be involved in some great bands and projects during my teens and through university. This has led to me playing hundreds of weddings and events in some of the most incredible locations in the UK and abroad!

I love playing weddings and being able to add a little something that clients thought might be missing. It's so nice for me to talk to clients after the event get their feedback. I always feel honoured to be part of someone's wedding and be able to add to such a special day!

I will normally arrive 30 minutes before I am due to play as set up takes 5-10 minutes. Standard performance is 2x45 minutes with a short break, but I am happy to work with clients to meet the needs of the event.

Absolutely! I play to bespoke backing tracks, so I tend to ask clients what style/vibe they are looking for to match. I can then ask if they have any specific songs they would like to include and, if I can find the track, I can add them into the set.

For my solo background sax, I get clients saying how classy and elegant the addition of my playing made to the event. For my DJ Sax sets, I get a lot of praise for my energy and enthusiasm - I am always happy to have a dance!
Outside of the performance, I take pride in my organisation and communication with clients. Having worked in the wedding and events industry for a long time, I know how stressful planning can be, so I am keen to make sure the part I play is hassle free and meets the desires of the client!
