Absolute party band The RAZORZ are a very experienced party & function band playing the best songs of the previous 60 or so years with some recent chart hits and lots more. We take care & pride in the professional approach we bring to our planning, preparation & performance. This enables us to offer a high quality & memorable experience to everyone that books us.
People often ask us what type of music we play. The best answer is that we play a bit of everything, to suit the occasion & the audience. We have an extensive repertoire in a whole variety of up tempo styles, designed to get our audiences up on their feet & dancing, with a few ballads for those slow & smoochy moments.
Our influences are best described as quality music from the present day, previous years & past decades. Lively songs (& a few ballads) that allow us to engage & involve the audience: Funk, Disco, Rock’n’Roll, Rock, Pop, Reggae, Country, Latin, Soul, Ballads & more. If you want Jazz standards, maybe as dinner jazz while you eat before the function or party we can do this as well. We're happy to learn & play that special song for your wedding or party, unless you want death metal or Val Doonican!

We gig at so many places so it's hard to pick a favourite though if pushed, we'd probably say our 2 best gigs & venues were at the Law Society in Lincoln's Inn & when we headlined Buckingham festival.
A tricky one but between us we love The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Chris Stapleton, Queen & so much more
Each of us started playing & performing from a young age
Our favourite events are those where the audience are lively, love to dance & sing along with us
It takes us around an hour to set our equipment up
Our basic performance times are 2 x 40 minutes though we can play for longer for an increased fee
We have done many outside gigs. We would need 100% waterproof covering in case of rain.
We don't have a set list. Our singer picks the best songs to suit each gig while we are playing. We can provide a song list for clients if they would like to specify the songs they want us to play
