Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I require a performing space of roughly 4 meters by 2.5 meters. In terms of power, all I'll need is 2 x regular 13 amp power sockets within 2 meters of the performance area. (I bring my own extension cable reels for extra flexibility).
Parking - I'll need access to a parking space at the venue to load in equipment.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes - I provide 1 x Thomann B210D PA Speaker, Behringer Xenyx 1202SFX mixer and a Thomann monitor.
I provide up to 4 x parcans and 1 x T-bar stage light bar that I use for different lighting patterns or ambient stage light.

What information do you require about a venue?

In addition to the venue address, I require access requirements to the venue, a venue contact (if applicable) and details of the best place to unload equipment into the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I'm happy to provide music before and between the performance sets. And can tailor this to your requirements as required.

I’m happy to provide music after the performance though this will be at cost - I am happy to discuss a bespoke arrangement for this. If this is a service required I would normally ask for recommended playlists or at least specific songs you’d like to hear. Though don’t worry if not, I can choose something appropriate to play alternatively.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

When I was last playing with a band we played a wedding which was an outdoor wedding in a tipi. The weather was terrible that day but as soon as we started playing we got pretty much every guest up, dancing and singing within minutes for the duration of the gig. (We also got the bride and groom up to sing with us during the encore). It was one of those amazing moments when we just made the atmosphere that night and I’ve never had as much fun as playing and singing as that night!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I was definitely a child of 90’s indie and rock and my guitar playing style was probably sharped by bands like The Verve, Radiohead, Stereophonics and Oasis.
There are too many great bands and songs to have an all time favourite but most of my favourites appear in my sample repertoire.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started playing live in my 20’s. I used to be in a function/ covers band and we would perform at weddings and parties all over the south east. Having relocated to East Anglia I’ve sought to go solo and am enjoying the different playing style as well as control over what music I play!

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are my favourite purely due to the energy of the guests. Everyone just wants to have a good time and it’s infectious - so it’s so amazing to play at a wedding and be a part of someone’s special day.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set Up Time: 45/60 minutes
Set Times: Typically 2 x 45 minute sets or 2 x 60 minute sets. Set times vary as per requirement and can be tailored to
your event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes I am happy to perform outside but will need cover in case of rain or to cover to provide shade if hot. Likewise I will need access to power and ideally a flat level surface.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes of course! Happy for clients to select what songs they would like me to play from
my repertoire though I would always recommend they seek my advise to programme the actual set order.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe me as accommodating, with good customer engagement prior to the event. They also complement my style and my voice and the energy of the performance itself.
