Until 2020, Ritchie played in some of the UK's most prestigious venues including; The Lanesborough, 20 Stories, Mandarin Oriental, The Groucho Club, The Jazz Cafe, Theatre Royal Haymarket and Lords Cricket Ground. He's entertained royalty, celebrities and high powered business clientele.
After several years residing in the countryside, taking a break and travelling the world, he has recently relocated to West Yorkshire. He enjoys performing at weddings and events alongside his full time career in the charity sector.
Ritchie is a versatile musician and can play the majority of genres; whether that be jazz, pop, covers, classical or boogie woogie. He plays entirely from memory and rarely ever uses sheet music.

A piano to be supplied at the venue is desirable as I don't have my own equipment - this is not my full time job! Many wedding venues do have a piano on site.

After studying Law at University, I realized I was more interested in music than my academia. I left university with very little to my name and built a 10 year career in music, which sadly came to an abrupt end when COVID hit.

Setup time is 5 minutes. I always like to arrive at least 30 minutes before I'm booked to start playing. I usually perform sets of 50 minutes and I'm happy to do several sets. I have a wide repertoire.
