We are a professional 8-piece, customisable Swing band. Playing classic Jazz and modern favourites, providing any combination of Piano, Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Male and Female vocals, backed by a fantastic Bass and Drums rhythm section.
Providing what you need for your event is our priority, and having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, we’re well-experienced in delivering on your vision, be it a soulful piano vocal duo, a luxurious vocal quintet, or a swinging Instrumental sextet to get everyone up and moving!
In 'What's New?!', we've brought together some of the most talented musicians in the Welsh Jazz scene, and we're particularly proud of our members for a number of achievments listed below: Elijah Jeffery and Isla Croll - performing sold out shows at the Dora Stoutzker concert hall in Wales, Nils being named Young Irish Jazz Musician of The Year, and touring and recording his own original music in Europe, and Marcus/Sam's work as a rhythm section playing multiple high profile government events for Parliament, the Irish Consulate, and the Welsh First Minister!
Our musicians all enjoy an active career in Jazz in their own right, touring all across the UK and further into Europe, so you can be sure you’re in capable hands.
Our repertoire typically consists of artists such as Frank Sinatra, Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Miles Davis just to name a few, or more modern Jazz artists such as Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter and Laufey. We also take requests and can make personalised arrangements of your favourite tunes at no extra cost!

Our members are award-winning musicians and have played for Welsh Parliament, the Norwegian head of state, the Welsh head of state, and the Irish Consulate, as well as being featured on the BBC and ITV.
Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald are big influences of ours, and we love Purple Rain by the artist formerly known as 'Prince'.
The band is comprised of a selection of the UK's leading Jazz talent. They are award winning musicians, (Young Irish Jazz Musician Of The Year 2022', 'BBC Young Jazz Musician Finalist'). They have also played for esteemed figures such as the Welsh head of state, the Norwegian head of state, and the Irish Consulate. The band are also individual recording artists in their own rights, and have played internationally at recognised Jazz institutions, such as Ronnie Scott's, Sligo Jazz Festival, Brecon Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Soho, Bergen Jazz Forum.

Yes! We do our best to suit you exact individual need, so just let us know what you're looking for, or if you're unsure, we can happily suggest a good sized band and instrumentation for your budget and event.
We try to arrive between 1hr 20 mins to 45 mins before the set to ensure things run smoothly, gigging as 2x45 minute slots, though we can do more!
