About / Biography

We play music from the great jazz and swing eras.

We have a great Gypsy swing repertoire, too.

We have a remarkably extensive repertoire of tunes and songs, most of which have stood the test of many decades to become “classics” of their own kind.

Our aim is to play with warmth, enthusiasm, and ensemble musicianship.

Our standard quartet lineup features multi-instrumentalists -

Clarinet/saxes/vocals
Lead Guitar/banjo
Rhythm Guitar
Double Bass
We can add a fifth member on trumpet/trombone or 2nd reed.

We play for a concert or background music through to a full dance setting.

We have greatly enjoyed playing our Exeter quay gigs to a big crowd.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We love the music of Django Rhinehart and include lots go gypsy swing, very exciting and great for dancing and listening

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been a pro musician since 1997 and all the musicians are very experienced and professional.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love to entertain!
