The Sounds Interesting quartet were extremely professional on the day of my wedding. My guests loved listening to their take on modern music and having them play a 'thousand years' as my bride walked down the isle was something which will stay with me forever.
Although myself and my new wife were whisked away for photos during the groups main set, my guests said they played some wonderful music. My only regret is that I didn't get to hear more of it. Anne was also very helpful on the lead up to my wedding day, full of advice for me and very helpful and understanding when I was choosing my music pieces. I would certainly recommend Sound Interesting Quartet to any one looking to add a touch of class to their event.

Last month Shrewsbury and Atcham District Arts Association were delighted to host the premiere of Patrick Larley"s work for string quartet, Iona Sound led by Anne Tupling with Sounds Interesting String Quartet. A contemporary work, it was made accessible by fine and precise playing. In addition Sounds Interesting gave a memorable rendition of a medley of Scottish airs composed specially for the occasion.

Hi Anne, my apologies for not getting in touch sooner but just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding!! We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with our wedding on
27th June at Lake Vyrnwy. It went really well. We had a lot of compliments
about the string quartet! We were slightly worried beforehand as we hadn't
met the DJ or the string quartet or the ceilidh band before and so we were
not familiar with their work, but we were really pleased we had hired them
all. They all did a fantastic job and new exactly how to please our crowd.
Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we
believe it was largely down to the great entertainment.

Hi Anne,
Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the quartet and also the person who was responsible for the amazing arrangements you played. They were very elegantly put together and none of the pop songs sounded forced or out of place despite the drastic change of instrumentation! In fact i'd say some of them soudned better this way. We particularly enjoyed the foo fighters arrangements, and I saw a number of guests singing along and conducting their way through Nessun Dorma.

Sarah and I we're running around a lot but whenever we stopped to listen we loved what we heard. We didn't hear a note out of place and the intonation between you all was of the best we've heard from a quartet. It is obvious that you all take a lot of pride in what you do, the years of experience show.

I know our guests were also very complimentary about it and we will happily recommend you to anyone who asks. It was worth every penny.

Thankyou I had a wonderful time. But it would have been nothing without the string quartet. They played so beautifully, honestly everyone was enthralled. I had to stop them playing as they would have gone over their Time!!!! Only minor problem, the one man band arrived early and started setting up thus allowing very little time for the quartet. But they took it in their stride.
