About / Biography

Who Are We

The Rough Diamonds are a high energy three piece acoustic group, with incredible 3 part harmony vocals that create an infectious good time vibe at every event. Playing songs from the 50’s to current day we play to the crowd making sure the dance floor is always full. The Rough Diamonds are a flexible act, which can be a mobile acoustic act with no PA necessary up to fully amplified for the evening entertainment. If you want to turn up the heat making it a full blown party band we can, with or other band Rooster including drums, bass, keyboards and electric guitar as standard with other options. What Have They Done Before?

Since 2014 The Rough Diamonds have performed at numerous high profile corporate events with clients including Audi, HSBC, AFC Bournemouth, River Cottage, Liverpool Victoria, Wembley, Waitrose, Just Eat, Animal, National Trust, Bournemouth Tourism and Pru Health to name but a few.

The Rough Diamonds are a group of highly accomplished musicians who have collectively worked with some great names including The BBC, Top Of The Pops, Sir Bob Geldoff, The House Of Blues USA, MTV, VH1, Robbie McIntosh (Paul McCartney/John Mayer), Ben Waters (Jools Holland) Jazz Legend - Ronnie Scott, Pinetop Perkins (Muddy Waters) and Charlie McCoy (Bob Dylan/Elvis) whilst touring across the UK. The Rough Diamonds are experienced, highly professional and experts at making your night one to remember.

What Sort of Music Do They Play?

The Rough Diamonds' varied set list caters for all ages and includes a mixture of 50's Rock’n'Roll up to current day hits including the likes of Elvis, Van Morrison and The Beatles, right through to Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Daft Punk and many more! You can be absolutely sure that guests of all ages will be up dancing and singing.
