Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Best gig: I recently performed an outdoor rodeo event for an international corporate company which included a line-dance lesson in between my performance sets. The energy was great with a very engaged audience which I really enjoyed as everybody got involved with the theme of the event. It's always great to see people pick up line dancing when they think they can't.

Best venue: I was the host, DJ and line-dance leader for 'Small Town, Big Country' 2025 which was incredible. It was my first festival and really enjoyed hosting and leading the day.

Honourable mention for best venue: Last Chance Saloon as it's set up just like a Nashville Dive Bar

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Megan Moroney. They have helped make country cool again and pioneering in a male heavy industry. Their songs are also very relatable and enjoyable whether you know them or not.

Greatest song of all time - Before He Cheats! A breakthrough sing-a-long anthem

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My background is holiday park entertainments where I spent two years working as a funstar for Haven holidays. Following that I built a career working as a club DJ for corporate clients such as Maserati and studied for a degree in music.

I'm now touring as a country artist which began after performing at a charity show back in February. This night was so successful with further bookings coming in as a result.'A tribute to country with Kelly' is now becoming a fully booked, regularly requested act.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love to play all sorts of events but anything with a county theme is obviously welcomed.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

singing - 2 x 45 minutes
County DJ set - one to two hours post performing
Country karaoke - to be discussed with client

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, however my equipment will need to have sufficient protection from unexpected rain storms and the option to move inside. Please also note my PA is a small system so sound does not always travel well in large open spaces

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I do have a large repertoire which clients are welcome to specifically state which songs they absolutely want (don't want).

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

High energy, infectious and just like the singers on Broadway (Nashville).
