We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters.
We need a minimum of 2 separate 240v plug sockets for duo performance.
We require a 30 minute setup and soundcheck time from point of access to performance room.
When our duo is performing outside, we require adequate power and performance conditions.
We need 1 parking space
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue and if there is suitable parking.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We had the absolute honor of being the first band to ever play a wedding at Newcastle Cathedral - and what a night it was! The atmosphere was unreal and performing in such a stunning, historic space was something we will never forget. Another one of our favorite venues has to be the stunning Gosford House!
Both also previously being original artists ; Laura's best gig has to be playing King Tuts and for Baz - T in The Park!
There would be far too many to mention - we both have very similar tastes in music! We are huge fans of 90s indie and alternative but also love dance and pop music!
We both grew up playing music in original bands and have always been involved in music. Laura appeared on The Voice 2016 and made it to the knockout rounds which was an amazing experience! Baz has played stages like T in The Park, and Radio 1's Big Weekend. We both came together to start performing at wedding and events 3 years ago.
We love all sorts of events but if we really had to choose we would say weddings - the energy, the emotion, the mix of ages all coming together for one big party! Theres no better feeling than seeing everyone up dancing and singing their hearts out.
We normally arrive 1 hour before performance to set up. we normally perform 2 x 45 minute sets or 3 x 45 minute sets but are happy to be flexible.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We have our own set list that we adhere to but we are happy to discuss song choices and build a set based on your preferences. We allow one song to learn if its not on our list.
