"Rachel was totally brilliant at our wedding, she captured the mood perfectly and our guests were blown away at how amazing she was! We also really appreciated the time before the wedding meeting to discuss our music preference and what we wanted. Rachel tailored it perfectly. Would 100% recommend and worth every penny! "

"We hired The Velvet Tones for our Wedding. They were great from start to finish! We had solo piano at the start of our ceremony, then the singer sang “At Last” as I walked down the aisle and it was stunning!! The Quartet played jazz during our drinks reception which created a great atmosphere without being over-powering. Finally, they gave us a run for our money with an amazing set of Motown to kick off the dancing. We had our own DJ to take over but everyone was already in such a good mood from the band. I really recommend this band as they are so versatile and easy to work with."

"Ruby sang at our anniversary party in 2016, and she made it an absolutely unforgettable evening. She has a fantastic song list ready, and she is happy to learn new songs for you, - even if I must say that her repertoire matches my own favourite songs, so I would be hard pushed to find any additional to request. Ruby covers all sorts of swing and Jazz from the Andrew Sisters to Amy Winehouse, dance music from cha cha cha to rock ‘n roll plus also Beatles and Bowie and other styles of music. All delivered with Ruby's own touch. Some of them much better than the originals. On top of it all, she made me aware of another brilliant singer, the Dutch Caro Emerald, as Ruby sings a couple of Caro’s songs. To have Ruby singing was, to quote a Caro Emerald song: “I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this” I would definitely recommend Ruby for any party, birthday, wedding, anniversary or the like. "

"I highly recommend Christine, absolutely amazing. Her voice is incredible, myself and my guests had a fantastic evening all due to her performance. She did 3x45min sets which was a mixture of solo acoustic variety’s and also backing track performances. Guests were dancing and singing along. And told me what an amazing evening they had. I will 100% be re booking Christine for any future events I have. Thank you so much again Christine."

"As soon as I met Vinyl & Velvet I felt like I had known her forever even though we had only text previously. So friendly yet very professional… she gave me her play list beforehand for me to choose songs from which was great as it was my voice of songs on the night… great voice and got everyone up dancing.. would thoroughly recommend Vinyl & Velvet and hope to book her again in the future… great value for money "

"Lara was amazing from the first contact. Lara sent over her whole playlist and we were able to select everything to our liking. Lara arrived in good time for our event and sounded brilliant, exceeding all expectations. We had a lovely day made extra special by having Lara there. "Kevin made all the difference to the afternoon, he was a delight to cmmunicate with from start to finish, understood perfectly what music would best enhance the event and played tirelessly and extremely good-naturedly for a whole three hours with only a couple of short breaks. He really makes a wonderful sound - a huge pleasure to sit down and listen to attentively quite apart from creating a great background atmosphere. Everyone really enjoyed his playing and all his new fans hope to be able to find an occasion to get him to come and play again soon!"
