"Chris came to play his pipes for our family gathering at Abbotsford House in Melrose in August 2022. He played for around 45 minutes and we were absolutely delighted with his performance. As well as playing many of the usual pipe tunes, Chris was also happy to play a few requests such as the Skye Boat song and Mull of Kintyre. Chris was a real professional: communication before the event was very easy and responsive, and on the day he travelled from Glasgow to be with us, arriving perfectly on time. Chris was immaculately turned out, and was happy to stay on for photos and chatting at the end of his set. Chris is very personable and professional, I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a piper for a family or professional gathering."

I dont think there was ever a point when nobody was dancing so you did a great job to keep the energy flowing in The Vean. "We hired the Fortes for our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. The service was excellent and the band were brilliant. Really good range of songs from different eras and great performance.We had some confusion due to change of lead singer but the band did their best to ensure we had the music we wanted and even used their PA system for a playlist we had created for between sets. Would highly recommend."

"Jules and Anne-Marie were so amazing at our wedding back in August, it was super easy to book with them, they were always quick to answer any queries on whatsapp and it was quick and easy to pay the deposit and remaining balance with them. They were really happy to take on our song requests and it was lovely being able to listen to lots of songs on their website before choosing the ones we wanted. They were really flexible with the songs choices and they did a mash up of Glue Song by Beabadoobee and the Up solo piano theme for my bridesmaids entrance and then for me to walk in to which was perfect for our day. We booked them for the ceremony and drinks reception and we were really happy with the music they provided on the day. It made our wedding day so much more special and we can't thank you two enough!"

"Joe was very friendly and accommodating, stepped in at extremely short notice. He was very flexible and happy to fit around what we wanted. Music was played in the background, a mix of songs. Non intrusive performance which was exactly what we needed and created the perfect atmosphere for our charity Christmas lunch. Thank you Joe."
