Review Centre: Vintage Bands

"What a fabulous performance you and your colleagues gave us yesterday evening! To say the event was a success is a massive understatement. The number of people who came up to me afterwards saying how much they enjoyed the show, well I lost count. A huge thank you to Fabrizio, Alessandro, Emanuela, Richard and, of course, Hetty for an outstanding evening of Italian music and song. Italy remains one of my favourite countries in Europe having been fortunate to visit Rome, Florence, Venice, Lake Garda and Verona and your songs brought back many happy memories for my wife and myself and I'm sure many of our guests also. Several people have already asked us "when are we going to re-book Hetty & The Jazzato Band" and "you really must re-book Hetty & The Jazzato Band" which give you some idea of how well you were received. Yours is the second only act in the history of the Maturians to receive a standing ovation at the end of the show. That speaks for itself!"

"Vintage Riffs were absolutely superb. A lovely group of musicians who exuded warmth and fun, were extremely professional and had the most amazing set. Everyone commented on how great they were. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. A wonderful end to a perfect day. The organising and booking procedure was very straightforward and stress free. I would definitely recommend - thank you!"

"I cannot praise The Songbirds highly enough. From the point where they were booked they were co operative and worked with me to agree a time schedule and a song list that fitted our requirements. They remained in contact up to the day and arrived on time. They look and acted professionally. Their music volume was contained at my request at a level where we could all speak normally at a family gathering and later when when asked they raised the performance and blew us away. They were as good in real life as their promotional pictures and sounded better than their demo video. An outstanding performance"

"Laura and the band are fantastic. Starting with great and friendly communication; explaining packages, sets etc... to ultimately a wonderful musical experience. Having a mix of modern and timeless songs in the style of the roaring 1920s made for a magical evening that appealed to all our guests teenagers to those in their 90s. The group are phenomenal musicians and Laura has a memorising voice. We could not recommend them highly enough - to the point of now finding another reason to host a party so we can have them back! Thank you Trips of Biscuits, you made a special occasion truly exceptional."

" I just wanted to put it in writing that I received loads of compliments about Trip for Biscuits. Many came to me today to say that they thought you were amazing. Everyone loved it, at times the dance floor was too small to accommodate all the fun and frolics and that was always my hope and mission. You are all such talented musicians and we are fortunate that you were able to play. It will go down in history as one of the best parties at the club ever and that is in large part due to the atmosphere created by the music. We really appreciated your sets, be they the piano and vocals or the six piece band. Many people kept referring to the brilliance of your arrangements of songs that were so familiar and loved by us all: particular favourites: right said Fred, jungle book, horny but there were others! Anyway, I hope that on the back of this, you will get more custom."

"Amy was a pleasure to deal with, both over email before our wedding and on the day itself. We gave her a list of our favourite songs and she let us know which ones she could do. Amy mixed these songs in with a selection of other songs and checked the overall list with us beforehand. Everyone at the wedding thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We would definitely recommend Amy to anyone doing a wedding - she is a fantastic singer and a lovely person. Thank you Amy!"

"I was organising an 18th Birthday celebration for my daughter and thought of booking an entertainer.I did not know where to start, I randomly browsed the singers and their listings. One act stood out from the others and she was Liz, a stunning vocalist. I contacted LMM but never had high hopes of success. I was very impressed because I got a quick reply from Sarah-Jane. She was very helpful in every way, She gave me reassurance and peace of mind with the booking. We exchanged quite a few emails which was really nice and made for excellent communication. She is very professional and direct in her approach. We were all very happy with Liz Curwen's performance and her song choices for my daughter's party. All my guests thought she was Fantastic including the children. Thank you LMM for the good job."
