Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"I listened to a number of singers before selecting MEHREEN SHAH to sing at my event. I needed a Soprano but often I hear a slightly thin, high reach which is in tune but not necessarily attractive. Mehreen's voice is sublime. She can reach high notes but her voice is full-bodied and rounded and robust. Rich. A funeral is an emotional time and she sang a classical number - Faure Requiem 'In Paradisum' as well as a show tune from the musical/film The Wizard of Oz, 'Over the Rainbow'. All I can say is that I was lucky to find her."

"I found Martin to be professional both in his contact previous and also during the whole trip on a river boat. I have a friend who sings in a band with a saxophonist and she commented on the quality of his playing also."

"Couldn't recommend Jan more! He was brilliant. Communication on the lead up to our party was fantastic. He got our wedding party going, guest loved him - dance floor wasn't empty when he was on. "Tim was simply awesome, such a crowd pleaser and worked the room so well, accommodating a few singing requests from the audience as well! His repertoire is comprehensive and he plays to the audience and crowd so well, plus he is a really nice guy and super helpful with any requests we had. Highly recommended."

"We hired a suite at the Park Plaza for my 60th birthday party and Mark provided acoustic singing for the evening. He had a list of his songs so our guests could choose what they wanted to hear which I thought was a really good idea. "

"Michael Blanchfield is an exceptional pianist and musician who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on several occasions. As a session musician, he’s one of the best musicians I’ve worked with; for a recent recording session we recorded 22 songs in 3 days!
