"Chris contacted me ahead in order that we could map out the nature of the session; he was calm and flexible in enabling us to manage the presentation session. We identified a specific song that he prepared ahead and when I mentioned another on the day he was able to find and sight-read with ease and competence. He was really easy to work with and the quality of the music throughout the session was excellent and his choices to reflect the mood, spot-on. It provided just perfect backdrop for an event that was reflective of someone who could just sit down at a piano and make magic - thank you SO much, Chris. "

"Nigel played for us at our wedding Saturday 6th August 2022 after hearing him playing at a wedding fayre. I cannot express in words quite how remarkable Nigel is. All of our guests were blown away by his talent and his never ending repertoire of songs! Nigel is professional, approachable, skilled and so thoughtful. Nigel learnt songs that we requested and sent us a template to build our set list for him. He read the room beautifully and played songs that the guests responded best to. Our highlight was when the entire wedding breakfast stood to sing Sweet Caroline! Thank you so much for making our day truly magical, Nigel. Rebecca & Davinder "

"We had the pleasure of having Nigel play at our wedding during our drinks reception. It was wonderful to have Nigel's music make our special day even more memorable! It was such a delight hearing Nigel play and a treat for our guests. Nigel can set up his piano outdoors and it looked spectacular. He has a massive repertoire of songs and it's amazingly clever the way he plays so expertly from memory. Nigel's communication in lead up to the wedding was excellent and he's a lovely guy also in person, alongside being such a talented musician. We really recommend getting live music for your wedding, it is absolutely worth it! The piano is a beautiful instrument and we could not recommend Nigel Hammond Music more. Love the Malmbergs "

"Nigel is an absolute legend ! This man can turn his hands to anything and any tune, even breaking into tune on our exit song when our song didn’t play through the system he very amazingly knowing what song it was broke into tune and gave us a glorious exit out of the church. Nigel played all afternoon for us, for our welcome drinks and our wedding breakfast and he was incredible, reading the audience and playing the most beautiful selection of music. We couldn’t recommend Nigel enough to anyone considering a lovely pianist at your wedding. Not only is Nigel a very talented pianist he is also a lovely gentleman who pre and during the wedding went above and beyond to help where he could and make everything such an easy booking process. "Nigel played during the ceremony, the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast. As a COVID wedding we were trying to make the day memorable for the right reasons and Nigel helped us to achieve that by playing a beautiful chilled selection of songs. As it was a December wedding he played a lovely selection of Christmas songs. We are so happy we picked Nigel to be a part of our day and would highly recommend this to anyone. "
